Amazing! Definitely recommend! - It was amazing and easy to navigate to the waterfall. If you are in shape I recommend paddle boards because kayak tours have so many slow people you’ll have to wait for on the tour. If your teenagers like to swim they can jump off whenever! So much fun!

A Great Family Adventure - This was a really fun experience. You travel the Waialua River to a beautiful landing spot where you get out and hike to Secret Falls. We enjoyed that it was a self guided tour so we could go at our own pace! We are pretty avid hikers from Utah and this was one of our favorite hikes of all time! Make sure you bring plenty of water at least two bottle per person. Also we strongly recommend some good hiking shoes or hiking sandals the trail gets pretty muddy and you do cross the river a couple of times. It will take you every bit of 4 hours to make this trip up, hike, and come back. I would recommend trying to do this first thing in the morning as parking is a little difficult. We fortunately did not have e to wait on long but it it is possible you will be waiting for a while depending on when people go up. The lot is small. Also parking (when we went 4/3/26) was $5 per person. When paddling to the hike you are going with the current is it is a little easier than coming out. We also had the wind kick up which made coming out even tricker. The SUP company was awesome they made sure we knew how to load the paddle boards and exactly were to go. They were very friendly and helpful!

Fantastic experience - This experience was simply the best for outdoor adventure people. The river was perfect temperature in February, with the lush forest trees. A bit muddy in places but overall so much fun! We also loved that this was on your own pace! We took a bag lunch to the waterfall and enjoyed a peaceful lunch after the 1st part of the paddle and hike. 100% recommend this. Additionally, I did this 6 months pregnant with ease!

SUP to waterfall hike is challenging but worth it!! - This is a wonderful experience for an adventurous and physically prepared family/group.
The self guided SUPs are super fun
but definitely challenging. The hike is very muddy and having proper shoes (river shoes) is best. Towels, eye protection and snacks will make everything delightful!
I felt like it was a great work out and worth it!!!

Paddle board to secret falls - We went to the secret waterfall and it was ….a lot of work. Bring snacks and wear Trex as you will be hiking in mud, slippery rocks, water and rough terrain with a little itty bit of rock climbing. It’s a total of 4 miles of paddling boarding and 1 hour of hiking. You will be hungry and thirsty so plan accordingly. However the rental place makes it easy to load and unload. Launching site is close by with parking. Would rent again from them.

Secret Falls SUP - This was a great adventure! We started by picking up our SUPs at the shop's location which is a very short drive to the boat launch where your journey begins. The guy secured the boards on top of our car rental and gave us clear instructions on where to put it, which side of the river to stay on, and how to get there. We paddled about 45mins going up the river til we got to the spot where you leave your board. The drop spot is super obvious because there were a ton of boards and kayaks already there. The trail is not so obvious. It's not marked very well because the path has overgrown foliage. You will be walking through some water, so west appropriate footwear. My husband tried to stay dry in athletic shoes. It didn't work so well for him. He kept having to take his shoes off and on. Walking in the water barefoot is rough because of all the rocks along the bottom. A couple of times we asked other hikers where the trail heading the waterfall was just to assure ourselves we were on the correct path. The hike is fairly short. About 30 minutes I would say. It was well worth it. A beautiful, serene waterfall awaits you at the end. Make sure you take plenty of water because we needed more than we thought we would. We picked up our boards around noon and turned them in around 4:30pm. You can definitely make the trip longer if you like. This was the 2nd excursion we did this day, so we were to get back a little quicker. Paddling back to the boat ramp took a little longer because the wind is blowing against you.

Ten out of TEN!! - It’s very easy to pick up your board and get on the water.
I didn’t catch the person helping me, name, but he was from New Zealand and he was extremely kind and helpful, with directions, getting the board on and off, and just overall friendly

Montana guy - River is calm. There were quite a few people on the river and trail. Scenery is beautiful and lush. The waterfall itself is not the biggest but still quite nice. Of course that is coming from a spoiled perspective as we come from an area with many large beautiful falls. Boards were a little worn and could use new bungees but worked well. All in all a fairly good time with beautiful scenery.

Double charged!!! - Charged for 2 and then they cancelled on us and didn’t refund both and now it is impossible to get ahold of anyone at all. Phone number doesn’t work, chat doesn’t work and no email.
