Beautiful activity with a fun guide - Beautiful day..kayaking was somewhat challenging if you don’t paddle often but not overly difficult. River is gentle and breezes. Kayaks are for two. The hike was quite muddy from recent rain so wear appropriate shoes…people in crocks were getting stuck and struggling. River crossing was exciting but manageable..dress for getting wet. Lots of info given during hike about vegetation and farming. Lunch location at waterfall was gorgeous. Swimming there would be fun on a hotter day. All in all a great adventure and highly recommend the company.

This is an incredibly... - This is an incredibly well run tour, the booking was easy and plenty of information was sent to prepare for it. Our tour guide, Kman was incredible! He had much knowledge about the island but also a passion and love for the island and a passion to share it with others. He remembered every single persons name on our tour and used them consistently through our tour, he was hilarious and made everyone laugh and feel so comfortable. Kman made this tour one of my top 3 tours ever. The kayak portion was a little rough in the wind but there was no rush or push to go fast or keep up. The hike was very easy as far as elevation however the mud was difficult to hike through in some places. There are river crossings and a lot of wet sections.

Great time for most levels of outdoor adventurers!! - It was such a wonderful experience! Our guide, Mana, was kind, patient and so knowledgeable. I really enjoyed all of the information he shared about the history and his personal experiences in the area. Even though it rained for party of the trip, it was so a worthwhile way to spend half a day!

Great expedition, adverse weather can influence, DON'T go 30 min early - I was thinking a lower rating at first. I was a bit annoyed that we were told to show up 30 minutes early, then literally talked to one guy who checked my name, told me he hoped I brought food and water and wore appropriate shoes, and then we waited for 29 minutes for the boats and the tour guide to show up. Ok. But the tour guide was really great. Mana grew up on the island so he had a ton of interesting information about the way things have changed over the years and could answer questions about anything on the island pretty much! The equipment was well used but still worked well. We were lucky to have pretty nice weather trails that were not muddy. However it did start to rain after we got to the falls and continued the rest of our hike and kayak back. It was a beautiful trip, I recommend it! But a high winds day is tough and if there's a threat of rain, bring a rain jacket!! It helps if you've had some experience paddling... Although Mana was very patient with those in our group who were less experienced.

Good experience - Was a very good kayak and waterfall experience. Closed toe water shoes is a must. Having a dry bag and camel back was very useful.

Great tour! - Mana was a great tour guide! He provided us all the information and history while we were kayaking and hiking. He made sure we were the first tour group to the spot so we had some time by ourselves at the waterfall. We wore tevas which were great as it gets muddy and there’s knee deep water crossings. People were doing this without a group but having a tour guide made it much more accessible. Make sure to pack snacks and water. We used a dry bag which was nice so we didn’t have to worry about holding our bags while kayaking or crossing the river. The 9am group time was nice as we beat a lot of the crowds out there.

Don’t miss this trip ! - Wonderful experience from beginning to the end. Our guide, KMan, was the best! The weather was beautiful and the water was warm. The perfect way to start the new year. I will say however that I believe the kayaking is too strenuous for young kids. We were not traveling with children but observed them in our group. In my opinion, the age should be 10 and over at least.

Great day with Khayman - We had a great day kayaking the Wailua river and hiking to the secret falls with Khayman. He was personable, engaging, just enough funny and not too shticky. We all agreed he was the best guide over our week long trip to Kauai. Highly recommend for a great guided tour.

Cancel the Dam trip next time!! - Called for rain all day and most companies canceled trips. Not this one, more worried about making money than giving a great experience. Khyman our guide was great and very informative about teaching. The kayak trip and visit to the falls were great other than the off and on rain showers. More on than off which made the hike a little more challenging with all the mud.
