Guests can watch the traditional imu (underground oven) pig unearthing and participate in a hula lesson. On the expansive lawn, a craft fair showcases unique creations by local artisans. Guests can indulge in a delectable buffet featuring both local and familiar dishes, complemented by a Mai Tai from the open bar. The main performance narrates the captivating tale of the ancient Hawaiian legend of Kalamaku, “child of the new land.” Through elements of laughter, fear, seduction, and fire, a new legacy emerges, rooted in the treasured seeds of their ancestors. The theatrical luau show concludes with a spectacular fire dream, featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.
