Enjoy the stunning scenery as we drive through the Kipu Kai area. Discover the intriguing legend of the Menehunes and the pond’s archaeological and cultural significance. This area has been a backdrop for many Hollywood films. We’ll pause at two spots for ample photo opportunities.
• Wailua Falls - Finally, it’s time to visit another waterfall, because one can never have too many. The iconic Wailua Falls, featured in the opening scene of the “Fantasy Island” TV show, offers plenty of time for photos. It’s the perfect way to conclude the tour.
• Lydgate State Park - Enjoy a leisurely walk along the path at the beautiful Lydgate Beach Park, where you can dip your feet in the renowned Morgan Ponds. Learn about the ancient temple where Hawaiians greeted the sunrise, the city of refuge, and more. This walk is suitable for all ages, with numerous photo opportunities.
• Opaekaa Falls - At this stop, you’ll visit two sites: Opaekaa Falls and the Wailua River lookout, located in Wailua town, once home to Hawaiian royalty. Expect breathtaking views and plenty of photo opportunities.
• Wailua Homesteads Park - As we drive through the Wailua Homesteads backcountry en route to Kapaa town, enjoy the spectacular views of Mount Waialeale, Kauai’s tallest mountain and the island’s center. Experience where the locals reside.
• Kapaa - We make dining enjoyable, which is why we head to Kapaa town for lunch. Here, you’ll find a variety of options, from food trucks and smoothie bars to restaurants. Your purchases support local mom-and-pop shops.
• Lydgate Farms Kauai Chocolate - In Kapaa town, we’ll visit the tasting room of Kauai’s leading chocolatier, Lydgate Farms. Sample chocolate made on the island from Kauai-grown cocoa beans. Each bite will delight your senses and leave you craving more.
• Sleeping Giant Trail - Lastly, enjoy a scenic drive on Kapaa’s bypass road. Take in the views of the famous Sleeping Giant Mountain as we share the tale of this mythical hero who once saved the day for the common people.

• you are coming via ship and the ship doesn’t dock due to weather or other unforeseen events, We will honor a 50% refund or a full credit to be used within 12 months.
