This excursion is perfect for both novice and experienced snorkelers seeking a calm, sustainable ocean adventure from Poipu Beach.
- Not for travelers exceeding 300lbs. Due to safety and physical constraints, we must follow a strict weight LIMIT of 300lbs or less.

The Perfect Way to Get Back in the Ocean - This was my first time back in the ocean since I had a very serious snorkeling accident last summer in Maui; so I was understandably nervous going into it. Our guide handled that incredibly well.
She was cautious, attentive, and always aware of where I was and how I was doing, but she never hovered over me or made my nervousness into a big deal. That balance was exactly what I needed. I felt like she was watching out for me without making me feel like I needed to be watched.
She made me feel safe and comfortable enough to actually relax, have fun, and enjoy snorkeling again. The whole experience went wonderfully, and by the end I felt confident and genuinely happy to be back in the water.
I’m incredibly grateful for how thoughtfully she handled something that was a much bigger deal for me than just another snorkeling excursion. I felt safe, had a great time, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience getting back into the ocean.

Such a great guide, absolutely amazing experience. - Our guide Aastha was amazing and took us to a great spot. Since the hurricane went through one week prior, we were unsure if we would see any sea turtles. However, we saw six and it was amazing. We had a ton of questions and she was very knowledgeable about all of the fish and the sea turtles and answered one of our questions. We would absolutely recommend this tour.

Beautiful - Sophie was a great guide. Once in the water, wow so many fish. Got to see 2 turtles, one was swimming right towards me! Warning though can get nauseated from the waves. It passed for me though.

We’re coming back! Can’t wait! - My husband is afraid of the water, I made him go and he hasn’t stopped talking about it! He tells everyone how amazing it was! In fact, we’re coming back in September from Utah, and he wants to go back to this exact same company, so we’ll be booking soon! He said the guide was wonderful, she explained things the whole time and knew right where to take them to see turtles!

Excellent knowledge and... - Excellent knowledge and expertise. Shelby explained everything well, including safety info, directions for water entry and exit, and explaining the different fish, turtles and even pointing them out. There was a float for anyone who felt tired. We saw coral, schools of fish, a sea urchin, and turtles. I liked the beach entry rather a boat. The kids loved it too. It was about an hour in the water and about 30 min for pre snorkel instruction and equipment dispersal/ collection. Efficient, safe, and fun!

Amazing guide and sea life. - Booking was easy. Communication with the staff was quick and helpful. On-site check-in and pre-dive info and safety session was useful and to the point.
But the dive itself was amazing. It seemed our group saw almost every sea creature that was mentioned in the info session.
Turtles, eels, sea cucumbers, all sizes/shapes/colors of fish, sea urchins…you name it-we saw it.
Highly recommend this snorkel tour of Poipu, Kaua’i

Was not impressed - I wasn’t impressed with our instructor. She was just OK just not overly friendly and helpful. This was my first time so I was a little nervous and overwhelmed with walking down the slippery rocks to get in the ocean. And my mask kept filling up with water and she didn’t help me with it at all. It was just me and one other person. In the ocean was really murky today, so it made the experience not very successful in my opinion. We did see a few small turtles, but it was hard to see anything.

Do not book with viator - Experience was canceled twice. Now I am having issues receiving a refund. Don’t book through Viator. The cancellations were done last minute. I was on my way to the excursion when I received notice the tour was canceled. Would not recommend using this service.
