- Harbor Mall - Would you like to try something new? Even if you’re a beginner, you can paint a Kauai memory. During this art adventure we will paint in watercolor, from a photograph, depicting the Kauai image of your choice. I have lots of excellent photos of landscapes, seascapes, flowers and Kauai critters and a flat screen for viewing them.
The class is two-and-a-half hours long. I offer two different time slots on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays: from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm or from 2:00 pm until 4:30 pm. Green Orchid Studio is a space where you can have fun and explore your creativity. Anyone can do this (ages 8 to 108) and beginners are encouraged to attend.
You will receive step-by-step guidance in a class limited to five students, which allows for plenty of one-on-one instruction. All art materials are supplied. We are surrounded by wonderful restaurants should you want to have a meal before or after your art class. You can expect to take home a finished Kauai painting, packaged to fit in your luggage. Or I can mail it to you, if you prefer.

As an artist hailing from Hawaii, I combine many years of painting expertise and teaching experience in my work. My art is proudly displayed in residences and workplaces across Hawaii, mainland America, and even Europe. Born and raised in Waikiki, I made Kauai my home in 1974. My intimate knowledge of Hawaiian culture and Kauai profoundly shapes the way I paint and tutor. My aspiration is to impart to others the profound inspiration I derive from our local landscapes, wildlife, inhabitants, and flora.
