• Wailua River State Park - Embark on a spacious, open-air boat journey along Kauai’s Wailua River, surrounded by miles of lush trees and tropical plants. Enjoy the cool breezes as the captain narrates tales of ancient Hawaii, when the river was lined with numerous Hawaiian heiau (temples).
• Fern Grotto - Enjoy a relaxing boat ride down the Wailua River to the renowned “Fern Grotto,” aptly named for the Boston Ferns cascading from the ceiling of a verdant cavern carved into the mountainside.
• Opaekaa Falls - This 151-foot-tall, 40-foot-wide waterfall cascades into a hidden pool and is one of the island’s most accessible major waterfalls.
• Old Koloa Town - Relish lunch at your leisure in the historic Old Koloa Town, enveloped by its charming atmosphere.
• Waimea Canyon State Park - Experience scenic views of the deep valley gorges with striking red soil covered in greenery, often referred to as “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific.” The Waimea Canyon Lookout will be closed from 4/14/25 through approximately 12/8/25 for slope and foundation repairs. As an alternative, we will visit Pu‘uhinahina Lookout, which offers a different yet impressive view of Waimea Canyon. Additional photo stops will be made to allow guests more time to appreciate the scenery.
• Hanapepe Valley Lookout - Enjoy panoramic views of a valley blanketed in trees and wild green sugarcane. Hanapepe was one of the locations visited by the famous explorer Charles Wilkes in 1840.
• Kauai Coffee Company - Visit the largest coffee farm in the United States, the Kauai Coffee Estate, and savor a rich cup of the renowned Kauai coffee.
• Spouting Horn - Witness crashing waves that propel majestic jets of salt water through lava rock, making it one of the most photographed sites on Kauai.
