Your kayak adventure on the Wailua begins with a two-mile paddle up Kauai’s only navigable river. A friendly, local guide will assist you in finding the best routes as you pass through Kamokila Village and head toward the north fork of the river, sharing tales of the early Hawaiians who first navigated these waters over 1,500 years ago.
After paddling, you’ll disembark for a moderate hike through a lush rainforest along the secret falls trail, leading you to a breathtaking 120-foot cascade tumbling down a mountain cliff. Finally, you’ll paddle back to your starting point, concluding your tour with treasured photos and memories of an extraordinary adventure.

The Beauty of Kauai - Fantastic adventure for the whole family! We loved exploring the beauty of Kauai! Levi was the best tour guide ever and even played the ukulele during the hike! My kids have a new cherished memory of exploring the island because of this amazing experience. Be ready to get muddy and build a little arm strength! 💪💕

Great excursion - Highly recommend this excursion. Communication from vendor was great, details, reminder, directions. The falls were a bit disappointing but related to lack of rain; but kayaking/hike was great particularly because of our guide, Levi. He gave us the Hawaiin experience. Info about environment, Hawaiian history; his traditional prayers, and the singing/ukulele were a bonus.

Highly recommended for a shore excursion - we had a great day ! - A great cruise excursion for us, we had a brilliant time - the kayaking was really fun, tough coming back as we had headwinds on the river but the hike, waterfall experience and guide (Levi) was brilliant - he made sure we were back on time, that we were safe and that each of us had the best day possible …a great balance of fun, activity and education !

A great tour and fantastic guide. - A great day, Levi was our guide and educator: he was fantastic. The kayaking was fun and the tour was so insightful as we hiked through the rainforest/jungle to get to the secret falls. Started at 8:45, back at the Coconut Mall by 2:45 so perfect for a cruise excursion.

Unforgettable river kayak at Wailua River! - Absolutely a memorable experience! We loved our guide, Levi Baclayon - who is very knowledgeable of true Hawaiian ancestry, faith, and culture. He is very kind, easy going, and carries a true aloha spirit!

Incredible experience on the Wailua River and to Secret Falls! - We had a great tour with Levi on the Wailua River and hike to Secret Falls. He has a fun personality and instructed us well on kayaking, hiking and what to expect. The river was calm and beautiful and the hike was very scenic and fairly easy (water shoes worked fine). Levi played the ukulele along the trail, which was a wonderful addition that added to the beauty of the day! The overall trip was what we expected, but even better! Thanks Levi for a great experience and great memories!

Must Do Excursion - Fun excursion! Our guide was absolutely amazing!!! The hike was great, and enjoyed our time at the waterfall. It was a great family activity with our 12 & 14 year old kids.
