Colombo is a vibrant, bustling, and colorful city that offers a striking contrast to the rest of the country. Skyscrapers rise from historic colonial-era districts near the port, yet the modern city proudly retains its old-world charm.

For example, wandering around Cinnamon Gardens reveals prestigious locations such as the Prime Minister’s Office, Independence Hall, Colombo Town Hall, and the National Museum, along with the elegant homes of the wealthy.
