Kandy Lake - Also referred to as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, Kandy Lake is an artificial body of water located in the heart of Kandy, Sri Lanka. Constructed in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe, it lies adjacent to the Temple of the Tooth. Although its size has decreased over time, it remains a protected lake where fishing is prohibited.
