Leaving the bustling city of Kandy behind, we ventured into the tranquil hill country of Nuwara Eliya. Known as “Little England,” this region is renowned for its lush tea plantations and cool climate. A visit to a tea factory provided a fascinating insight into the tea-making process, from plucking the leaves to the final product. Sipping a freshly brewed cup of Ceylon tea amidst the verdant hills was a moment of pure bliss.
