After completing immigration and visa procedures, collecting baggage, and passing through the green channel if there are no customs declarations, travelers will meet an Apple Vacations Representative. This representative, holding a paging board with the traveler’s name, will introduce them to an English-speaking chauffeur guide who will transport them to their hotel in Colombo. Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium - This 30,000-seat cricket stadium is located in Dambulla, on land leased from the Rangiri Dambulla Temple. It is the first and only international cricket ground in Sri Lanka’s dry zone, offering views of the Dambulla Tank and Dambulla Rock.
Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs - Located five kilometers before Dambulla town on the Kurunegala-Dambulla Road, this ancient burial site is marked by an Archaeological Department board. Developed into a tourist attraction in 2017, it is accessible by traveling about 500 meters from the main road.
Ederagala Wana Senasuna - This Buddhist temple, dating back to the 2nd – 1st century B.C., is located in a serene area of Dambulla in the Matale District. Situated beside the Ambepussa – Kurunegala – Trincomalee Highway, it is just 6 km from Dambulla city and can be reached within 15 minutes from the Dambulla Cave Temple.
Sigiriya Museum - This museum offers a detailed diorama of the site, providing insights into Sigiriya’s cultural significance beyond its natural beauty. While the theory of Sigiriya being a Buddhist monastery is presented, the prevailing view is that it was a palace or fortress. (Combine with Sigiriya fortress)
Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - Rising majestically from the central plains, Sigiriya is one of Sri Lanka’s most striking sights. Its near-vertical walls lead to a flat-topped summit with ruins of an ancient civilization, believed to be the heart of the short-lived kingdom of Kassapa. The views across misty forests in the early morning are breathtaking.

Dambulla is a site of unique interest, with its rock temples being the most extensive and ancient in Sri Lanka, preserved in excellent condition.
Golden Temple of Dambulla - A popular tourist destination, Dambulla is rich in Buddhist history and culture, offering visitors a unique experience even before reaching the city.
Kandy View Point - Climb the hill by Kandy Lake to reach the viewpoint, offering unbeatable views of the city. While popular with tourists, the area is known for peddlers and pickpocketing, so visitors should be cautious. The views over the lake and city are spectacular.
Kandy Lake - Also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, Kandy Lake is an artificial lake built in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe. Although reduced in size over the years, it remains a protected lake with fishing prohibited. Legends surround the lake, including one about the small island used by the king’s helm for bathing, connected to the palace by a secret tunnel.
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - This golden-roofed temple houses Sri Lanka’s most important Buddhist relic, a tooth of the Buddha. During puja, the room containing the tooth is open to devotees and tourists, though the tooth itself is not visible. It is kept in a gold casket shaped like a dagoba, containing a series of six diminishing dagoba caskets. The complex also includes smaller temples, shrines, and museums.
Kandy Lake Club - Cultural Dance Show - A Kandyan dance performance is a defining experience in Kandy. Although the shows are designed for entertainment, they feature dance routines and costumes from across the country, including the rare ‘devil’ dances of the west coast.

Ravana’s Cave - Located about 2 km from Ella town and 11 km from Bandarawela, Ravana’s Cave is a small cave measuring about 50ft wide, 150ft long, and 60ft high. According to history, King Ravana used the cave to hide Princess Sita.
