• YHA Blue Mountains - Katoomba - Rocky Creek is one of the most stunning canyons in the Blue Mountains and is considered a ‘must do’ by enthusiasts.

A brief 10-minute walk brings you to Twister Canyon. Once wetsuits are on, the adventure begins. This canyon, also known as Sheep Dip, involves jumping into a pool, swimming across, and sliding or jumping into the next one, totaling 8 pools. It’s a soaking experience!

After exiting the canyon, a 30-minute trail leads through a breathtaking valley adorned with tree ferns, arriving at the start of Rocky Creek where a renowned lunch is enjoyed. This canyon is entirely different, with walls soaring over 50 meters high. Numerous tunnel swims, waterfall scrambles, and rock slides lead to the sunny end, where the canyon is retraced back to the start.

A 30-minute walk from here returns us to the vehicles.
