• Kato Karouzana - Visitors will be introduced to the techniques of producing the local spirit, raki, as well as honey. Our local chef will demonstrate how to prepare traditional bread baked in a wood-fired oven, allowing guests to taste it fresh from the oven. Those interested in learning to cook can participate in preparing lunch under the guidance of our chef. A meal and wine are provided while our shepherd makes cheese from freshly collected milk, known as kefalotiri and mizithra. Guests can join in the process and assist the shepherd in cheese preparation, tasting it as it emerges from the cylinder. After the meal, guests will learn how to make their own traditional Greek coffee.
