Drive to Sankhu and Overnight in Nagarkot (2175 m)

Sankhu Village - Between 07:00 and 09:00 AM, a representative will pick up guests for a drive to Sankhu, which takes approximately 45 minutes. Upon arrival, the hike to Nagarkot (2175m) begins, lasting 3 to 4 hours. Around 05:00 to 06:30 PM, guests can enjoy a stunning sunset view over the white mountains, followed by an overnight stay. BB

Nagarkot to Bhaktapur via Changu Narayan Temple

Changu Narayan - Guests will be taken to a prime location to capture the sunrise in the early morning. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, the journey continues to the Changu Narayan Temple. This ancient Hindu temple, located on a high hilltop known as Changu or Dolagiri, is surrounded by a champak tree forest and the small village of Changu. Situated in Changunarayan Municipality of Bhaktapur District, Nepal, the temple is about 7 miles or 12 km east of Kathmandu and a few miles north of Bhaktapur, with the Manohara River flowing nearby. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this temple holds special reverence among Hindus and is considered the oldest in Nepal’s history. The temple is named after Champak, the daughter of a Kashmiri king who married the prince of Bhaktapur. After visiting, guests will walk to Bhaktapur Durbar Square and then be driven back to Kathmandu, a journey of 1 to 1.5 hours, for a hotel transfer.
