Kathmandu Sightseeing & Trek Preparation
Pashupatinath Temple - After breakfast, explore Kathmandu’s cultural heritage sites with a professional guide. Prepare for the trek and meet your trekking staff. Overnight at the hotel.

Swayambhunath - Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a sacred pilgrimage site for Buddhists and Hindus. The temple is renowned for its stunning architecture, including a white stupa with captivating eyes painted on its four sides, and its resident monkey population, which adds to its charm and lively atmosphere.
Drive from Kathmandu to Maccha Khola (900m/2,953ft)
Budhigandaki - At the bridge crossing, trek through the beautiful Sal forests, then climb onto a ridge above the massive rapids on the Budhi Gandaki. Reach Khursane, where the rocky trail weaves up and down, past two tropical waterfalls on a steep, rocky path clinging to the side of a cliff. It eventually descends past a few rice terraces, then up and around to the Gurung village of Labubesi. Climb behind a rocky outcrop, where the valley opens up and the Budhi Gandaki meanders among wide gravel bars. Descend to the sandy riverbed, walk along rounded stones, then climb over a side ridge. Descend again to the river and cross another suspension bridge to reach Machha Khola village. Overnight in Machha Khola.
Trek to Jagat (1,410m/4,626ft)
Jagat - The narrow trail involves some minor ups and downs and eventually crosses the Tharo Khola, reaching Khorlabesi. After a few more ascents and descents, encounter a small hot spring in Tatopani. From the hot spring, climb over another ridge, then cross the Budhi Gandaki on a suspension bridge. At this point, climb a wide, well-crafted staircase, then cross a landslide and over a ridge to Dobhan. Upon crossing a suspension bridge over the Yaru Khola, climb the stone stairs, then descend to the river and climb more stone stairs to Tharo Bharyang. Crossing to the west bank of the Budhi Gandaki, climb over a ridge, trek along the river, and then climb towards the village of Jagat. Overnight in Jagat.
Trek to Deng (1,804m/5,919ft)
Trek to Ghap (2,380m/7806ft)
Namrung - Enter the Buddhist-influenced area and arrive at Ghap. Overnight at camp.
Trek to Lho (3,180m/10430ft)
Trek to Samagaon (3,450m/11316ft)
Samagaun - Follow the river with views of Peak 29. Arrive at Samagaon with views of Manaslu. Overnight at camp.
Acclimatization Day at Samagaon
Samagaun - Explore the monastery and village with stunning views. Overnight at camp.
Trek to Samdo (3,860m/12660ft)
Budhigandaki - Follow the Budi Gandaki to Samdo. Overnight at camp.
Trek to Larkya Phedi (4,460m/14628ft)
Cross the Larkya La (5,135m/19842ft), Trek to Bimtang (3,590m/11811ft)
Bimthang - Reach the summit with panoramic views and descend to Bimtang. Overnight at camp.
Trek to Tilje (2,300m)
Bhimtang Lake viewpoint - Descend through forests and reach Tilje. Overnight at camp.
Trek to Chamje (1,430m/4690ft)
Chamje - Follow the trail through scrub forests and arrive at Chamje. Overnight at camp.
Drive to Kathmandu
Kathmandu - Drive back to Kathmandu through the countryside. Rest and relax at the hotel.

Kathmandu - Full day at leisure to relax or explore Thamel.
Departure from Kathmandu
