Spectacular scenery and cultural trip - Magical Nepal organized this trip well! They were easy to work with and were very flexible. The trek was spectacular and my guide, Sajan, was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and fun. The accommodations were very comfortable and the scenery was amazing. Taking this trip during monsoon season led to some amazing views and snowy peaks.

Great crew, wonderful scenery! - It was absolutely amazing. These three words would describe it, but let me elaborate a bit. My husband and I thought a lot about whether to choose the Everest Base Camp trek or this one. The decision was greatly helped by the fact that the company was always available to us by phone and e-mail, and we could ask any questions. They were very kind and provided us with relevant information. In the end, we decided on the Manaslu Circuit Trek. An international team came together, and we think of them with so much love; they really added to the experience! Thanks to all of you Dal Bhat Gang (Tim, Jacob, Julio, Dil Man, Sulav, Asis & Mr. D)! The journey was incredibly beautiful. We walked along sparkling waterfalls, through stream valleys, crossing amazing depths and heights, all under the leadership of Dil Man. The locals along the circuit were very kind! The plant and animal life were incredibly rich, and every day had its own David Attenborough moment. Not to mention the mountains—the camera could only capture a fraction of the majestic snow-capped peaks. In my opinion, we got the best guide. He immediately understood that the team was adventurous, so he pulled out all the stops. For example, wild river bathing in ice-cold streams—unforgettable! Every day, he called ahead to the tea houses and told them what we wanted to eat, and by the time we arrived, it was all ready—he made our trip so much more comfortable. Asis, who carried our bags tirelessly, thank you too! We also got a lot of help from the office. We planned most of our time in Kathmandu based on their recommendations, and we weren’t disappointed. Whether it was sightseeing, souvenir shopping, or finding the best burger place, they had us covered. We hope to return, and when we do, we’ll know exactly who to contact!

Outstanding trip with a great trekking company! - I did the Manaslu Circuit trek with Magical Nepal in May 2025. It was my third trekking visit to Nepal and easily the most enjoyable. Magical Nepal were highly professional throughout the pre-trip planning and our guide, Narayan, was very knowledgable, extremely friendly and a lot of fun to hang out with. I would not hesitate to book with Magical Nepal again, and would ask specifically for Narayan!

Great company and guide! - I did the Manaslu circuit at the end of the spring season so i was the only one in the group with my guide Mitra. The people in the office and Mitra were super helpfull with arranging everything and helping me get the last few things i needed in Kathmandu. During the Trekking Mitra was very clear with explaining the itenerary. You can tell he has a lot of experience and he has a good relationship with. He always managed to get me the best rooms in the teahouses😁. He was super knowledgeable and friendly. The trekking was hard but incredibly beautiful and very memorable.

Unforgettable Manaslu Trek - From Base Camp, to the Tibet border, to Larke pass; Magical Nepal gave us memories that we will never forget. This was an incredible experience and I could not have wished for a better trip. Magical Nepal was very communicative and easy to work with. We had very clear expectations and they were exceeded! Narayan was the best guide ever! He made the trip unforgettable and took care of the group every step of the way. This was the trip of a lifetime and I didn’t want to leave Nepal by the time it was over.

A truly wonderful experience - Booked the trek from May 12 to May 24, as a solo and was paired with another trekker from the United States. The airport pickup was smooth and the driver had great tips, and the agency was very flexible despite my late arrival time. However, the highlight of the trek was our guide Jay. His optimism was really helpful throughout the trek. He was able to accommodate a lot to our speed and wishes, and always gave advice. With his help, we were able to finish the trek 2 days early, notably by covering over 30km on the Larke Pass day. When it comes to the hiking itself, the region is truly magnificent. The Manaslu trek offers an easier and less crowded alternative to the Annapurna circuit, whilst maintaining the incredible vistas. Seeing how the landscape changes with us going further up in altitude was truly amazing, and forming a small community with the trekkers of other agencies was really helpful. The tea houses are all great, most of them have internet/electricity, making keeping touch with home very easy, and the trek has surprisingly good Nepal Telecomm coverage! Physically, the itinerary makes it accessible to almost anyone, and Jay was very flexible with our speed. The long rest afternoons at the tea houses were very important for recovery and acclimatization. Personally faced no difficulties with the altitude, the acclimatization was great and with the help of some Diamox, my apetite remained good and managed to make the most of the hiking. Despite the clouds on the Larke Pass day, it was a truly fantastic moment that we got to share with Jay. As for the pricing, I found Magical Nepal very affortable, as a student it was very helpful for me, but if you want the options for a porter or private jeep are available. I do highly recommend requesting a private car, as the roads to and fro the trek leave their mark on you, and suffering them on a bus would be a highly uncomfortable experience (download a lot of movies!). Overall, I would very highly recommend this trek, it's not too intimidating nor crowded, and provides a great opportunity to explore a different trek through Nepal, or get to know your reactions to high altitude.

Memories made!! - My experience with Magical Nepal was great from the outset. I had to delay my trip by a day as the airlines lost my bags and couldn’t start my Manaslu Circuit trek on time. The team was most understanding and came up with a solution quickly and efficiently before we even got to the start of the trek! My guide Deepak was the best. Along the entirety of the Manaslu Circuit trek he explained to me the trails and things we were seeing on them. His knowledge of the trails and villages in which we were hiking through was excellent. He was very patient, polite, accomodating and his English was excellent! Other people who I met on the trek wished that he was their guide! The Manaslu Circuit itself was beautiful, the scenery was awe inspiring, the trails challenging but manageable, the villages were beautiful and was an amazing insight into the cultural way of life near the Tibetan boarder. The experience overall was excellent and could highly recommend it to anyone in doubt! Ask for Deepak as your guide, he is the best and cannot recommend him highly enough! Peter, 30, Australia

Manaslu Circuit Trek with Magic Nepal - From the first contact from Germany to the end of our trip we always felt comfortable. Communication was clear and helpful, and all our questions were answered quickly (including via Whatsapp). On the trek itself everything was excellently organized. The daily routines were well thought out, and we could fully enjoy every day. The landscapes we crossed were breathtaking! A big thank you also goes to our very professional guide Sajan, who accompanied us throughout the trip. Sajan was extremely competent. He told us a lot about the culture and nature of the region and made sure we felt safe and well looked after at all times. It was a unique experience we will never forget. The combination of the impressive nature, the excellent organization and the friendly company has made this trip very special. We would definitely book again with Magic Nepal and can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience an unforgettable adventure.

The perfect time…with the team including Pemba and 10 year old Clara - Wow!! We just returned from Nepal and looking to see when we can go again including my 10 year old daughter who did the circuit smiling (almost) the entire time. Not only were the views amazing, the communities warm and inviting, the food and accommodations lovely but the backbone of our operation, our guide, Pemba and porters Kailas, Herman and Savasing were playful, intelligent and so personable that our team was complete and ultimately our adventure was honestly perfect.

An unbelievable experience - Could not recommend a trek with Magic Nepal more. The team is superb, not only do they plan the perfect trek, they also help plan the rest of my time in Nepal. Our guide Dilman was just the best, sharing detailed plans, swindling the biggest portions of food, extra helping of peanut butter and having great knowledge of the area. An absolute joy having him along side us. As for the hike, it was unbelievable, great views, lovely locals, and many memories made.
