Kathmandu to Syabrubesi via Chilime Hydropower

Trisuli River - The Langtang trek starts with a nine-hour drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, heading north along the road by the Trisuli River. You can choose between a public bus or a private vehicle, with private vehicles being safer and highly recommended. Along the way, you can see the Chilime hydropower plant in Syabrubesi, which is designed on the run-of-the-river model.

Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel through Bamboo

Bhotekoshi River - The trek from Syabrubesi follows a trail that crosses the Bhotekoshi River and continues along the Langtang Khola, gradually ascending to Bamboo and passing through a landslide area to reach Lama Hotel, situated at an elevation of 2,470 meters above sea level.

Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley via GhoreTabela

Langtang National Park - Departing from Lama Hotel, the journey continues toward Langtang village via GhoreTabela, passing through lush meadows used for grazing yaks and livestock by local residents. A beautiful monastery can be explored on the way to Langtang Valley.

Langtang Valley to Kanjing Gumba

Langtang National Park - The trek from Langtang village to Kanjing Gumba takes about two and a half hours. After lunch and a one-hour rest, climb to the Kanjing Re viewpoint, which is at an elevation of 4,700 meters above sea level.

Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi

Syabrubesi to Kathmandu Return Drive

Kathmandu - Travel back to Kathmandu from Syabrubesi on a nine-hour drive along a gravel and bumpy road.
