• Boudhanath Stupa - This Buddhist pilgrimage site is included in the tour due to its proximity to Pashupatinath and its location on the way to Budhanilkantha. Visiting Kathmandu without seeing this site would be incomplete. It is the largest Buddhist stupa in Asia and exemplifies the unique blend of Hinduism and Buddhism found in the Kathmandu Valley. It also hosts the largest Tibetan refugee community in Nepal. Boudhanath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Budhanilkantha - Known for the famous Hindu temple of Budhanilkantha, visitors can purchase items for Puja (for Hindus only) and begin their journey from the base of the Holy water tap. It is a small yet significant pilgrimage area, especially for Hindus. Non-Hindus are welcome to visit and learn about Hindu culture.
• Budhanilkantha Temple - Although not a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it certainly deserves recognition. It houses one of the oldest shrines in the Kathmandu Valley, featuring a 5-meter long statue of Lord Vishnu reclining on the cosmic sea. The idol, crafted from a black stone not native to the Kathmandu Valley, was constructed by the Licchavi dynasty that ruled nearly a millennium ago.
