Fantastic Kathmandu Tour - We had an absolutely fantastic time exploring Kathmandu, and we owe it all to our guide, Tej. He possesses an incredible depth of knowledge about the city's history, culture, and architecture. He was punctual, his car was very neat and clean and Tej navigated the busy streets with ease and took us to some breathtaking spots, including the UNESCO Heritage Sites. He was patient, answered all our questions, and truly brought the local history to life. I highly recommend Tej to anyone looking for an authentic and educational tour of Kathmandu!

Perfect for solo... - Perfect for solo travelers. Summit was really patient and full of information. He’s also really observant and suggested a tea break when he realised the weather was affecting my mood. 10/10 would recommend

A Happy Day in Kathmandu - Our guide Sumit is very friendly and sincere. It's not easy to visit so many places in one day, but the itinerary is well organized. He tells vivid stories between attractions and takes us to try great local ice cream. We learned a part of Nepal's history and saw a happy day for locals. It's really worth it.

Absolutely Wonderful - Well worth the money! My husband and I were contemplating just getting a taxi to go around Kathmandu, but I'm so happy we didn't and did this tour instead. This tour hit all the major historical spots and we got the expert insights from a local guide. Our guide, Bikram Tamang, spoke expertly about religion, local cultures, and history. He also patiently answered a million questions! Our driver Arun also navigated the very busy streets of Kathmandu like a pro!

Fruitful and wonderful trip - I had limited time in Kathmandu and I was really glad I joined this private tour which allowed me to visit 7 UNESCO sites in a day. My tour guide Tej was experienced and friendly. He designed the route of travel really well and managed the time in an excellent way. He was also super knowledgeable and gave detailed explanations at different sites. And I was really happy he helped me take loads of pictures. We went through the different sites in the following sequence: 1. Hanumandhoka Durbar Square and museum, Kumari Ghar, Taleju Bhawani Temple 2. Swayambhunath (monkey temple), Shantipur Shrine 3. Patan Darbar Square and museum 4. Bhaktapur ancient city, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, ancient royal palace, Nyatapola Temple, Taumadhi Square, Pottery Square, Dattatraya Temple 5. Changu Narayan Temple 6. Boudha Stupa 7. Pashupatinath Temple Throughout the tour, I learned so much about Hinduism, Buddhism, history of Nepal, some rituals of the different tribes, process of pottery manufacture, process of religious burial in Nepal and many other stuff. It was both an enjoyable journey and a wonderful learning experience for those interested in knowing about Nepal. The journey was quite packed but Tej managed it very well as per my needs. I was provided with a lunch box with fruits and pastries that I can eat on the car during transfer between sites, so I was not hungry and skipped a proper lunch at a restaurant (this allowed more time for sightseeing!) I also had to get to the airport after the tour and Tej kindly arranged to drop me off point at airport instead of the initial pickup point. He was very flexible and considerate and I am truly grateful for his marvelous tour. Just a reminder for future visitors who are considering to join the tour: be sure to bring sufficient cash with you to cover for the admission fees at different sites (at least 6000 NPR, and do allow more buffer for souvenirs/ lunch/ tips)

A Meaningful and Insightful Nepal Day Tour - If you have limited time in Nepal, or if you want a deeper understanding of the country’s culture and historical sites, I highly recommend this tour. Having the knowledgeable Bikram Tamang and the excellent driver Krishna leading the trip made the entire experience truly memorable. Bikram is a Buddhist studies student with extensive knowledge about the sites, history, and local culture. He explained everything clearly and patiently, introducing me to many cultural stories and traditions that I had never understood before. Without his guidance, I think my trip would have been far less meaningful, and I wouldn’t have been able to appreciate the deeper cultural side of Nepal. Highly recommended!

Really interesting tour - Really interesting and informative tour of Kathmandu and the surrounding areas. Our guide Summit was unfailingly helpful and a wealth of information, answering every question I had and really giving me an insight into Nepalese history and culture. The last few hours of the tour involved leaving Kathmandu for a couple of hours to drive into the surrounding areas to see a couple of additional sites - this was interesting and means you'll get a chance to see beyond the city, but it can be a long day, so just make sure you've got a full day free!
