Fly to Lukla (2,840 m), trek to Phakding (2,610 m) Duration: 3 hours trek.
Phakding - An early flight from Kathmandu to Lukla offers one of the most stunning flights in the world, providing unforgettable views. Upon arrival in Lukla, the short trek to Phakding begins. After passing the police checkpoint, the trail descends towards the Dudh Khosi River and continues downward until reaching the village of Phakding, where you will stay overnight.
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) Duration: 6 hours
Namche Bazaar - After breakfast, the trek continues towards Namche Bazaar, the largest town in the region. The trail follows the Khumbu Khola (river), crossing it several times until Jangbu, where the ascent begins. The trail offers beautiful valley landscapes. After a half-day of ascending, the trail becomes steeper until reaching Namche Bazaar. Before entering the town, there is an opportunity to stop at the Everest View Point for a first glimpse of the mighty mountain. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.
Acclimatization Day: Namche Bazaar
Namche Bazaar - Today is a full day to relax and acclimatize to the high altitude. As ascending too quickly can cause altitude sickness, it is important to break the trek and adjust to the new altitudes. Namche Bazaar, being the largest town in the area, offers a fun day of exploration. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Trek to Phortse Thanga (3,680 m) Duration: 5 hours
Trek to Machherma (4,470 m) Duration: 5 hours
Machhermo - Today involves a challenging ascent, starting early towards Machhermo. The trail passes through beautiful rhododendron forests and icy waterfalls until reaching Dole, a small village. If altitude gain is problematic, an overnight stay can be made here; otherwise, the trek continues to Machhermo. Ascending higher offers stunning valley views and the possibility of Yeti sightings. Trek to Gokyo (4,800 m) Duration: 4 hours
Gokyo Valley: Acclimatization Day- Optional Hike to Gokyo Ri (5,357m) Duration: 4 hours
Gokyo Ri - After breakfast, an excursion to Gokyo Ri, which towers above the village, is planned. The steep climb rewards with breathtaking views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu. After resting at the summit to enjoy these spectacular views, the return to Gokyo follows. Depending on the time, a side trip to the fourth and fifth lakes of the Gokyo Valley is possible. Overnight at Gokyo.
Trek to Dragnag (4,700 m) Duration: 4 hours
Trek to Dzonglha (4,830 m) via Cho La Pass (5,368 m) Duration: 7 hours
Trek to Lobuche (4,910 m) Duration: 4 hours
Lobuche - After breakfast, the trek continues towards Lobuche. The landscape changes, becoming more barren and rocky, as the trail ascends a ridge towards the village of Thukla. Further ascent leads to the Dugla Pass, climbing higher until reaching Lobuche. Upon arrival, a well-deserved rest is taken in preparation for the visit to Everest Base Camp the following day.
Trek to Gorak Shep (5,140 m) visit Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) Duration: 6 hours
Everest Base Camp Trail - An early start aims to reach Everest Base Camp. The steady climb passes the Khumbu Glacier and the Italian Pyramid Research Center, becoming more challenging due to reduced oxygen levels. The trail ascends gently until reaching Gorakshep, the day’s destination. After securing accommodation in Gorakshep, the trek continues to the ultimate goal, Everest Base Camp. Returning via the Khumbu Glacier, a different route is taken, ascending slowly and eventually following the mountain’s spine until descending to Everest Base Camp. Congratulations on reaching the goal! Time is spent celebrating before returning to Gorakshep for the overnight stay.
Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545 m) and descend to Pheriche (4,240 m) Duration: 7 hours
Pheriche - The day begins at 4 am with a trek to Kala Patthar for an incredible sunrise view over Mt. Everest. Although reaching EBC was the goal, the view from Kala Patthar is often considered the ultimate highlight, offering unforgettable views of the majestic mountain. After enjoying the moment at Kala Patthar, the descent to Gorekshep for breakfast and onward to Pheriche follows. The trail descends gradually until reaching Pheriche for the overnight stay.
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) Duration: 6 hours
Namche Bazaar - Today’s destination is the large town of Namche Bazaar. Retracing the path past icy waterfalls and forests, the trek descends back to Namche Bazaar. As the journey nears its end, extra time is taken to appreciate the beautiful scenic landscapes. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.
Trek to Lukla (2,840 m) Duration: 6 hours
Lukla - After breakfast, the descent continues back to Phakding, following the Dudh Kosi River, and ascending back to Lukla for the night.
Fly to Kathmandu
Kathmandu - A flight returns to Kathmandu, and upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the Kathmandu valley.
Leisure Day and farewell dinner in Kathmandu
Kathmandu - Spend the day as you wish. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant, sharing experiences from the trip.
Trip Conclude
Kathmandu - A company representative will transport you to the airport in a private vehicle. Wishing you a safe flight and a smooth landing back home.

The journey to Gokyo Lake involves crossing the lofty passes of Gokyo Ri and Cho La (5330m) before traversing the Dudh Koshi and Khumbu valleys, starting from the Sherpa people’s heartland and ending at the Gokyo valley. The route offers magnificent vistas of four mountains exceeding 8,000m, including Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Nepal’s largest glacier, Ngozumpa. Positioned in the Khumjung Village Development Committee within Solukhumbu District in the Sagarmatha Zone of north-eastern Nepal, Gokyo Lakes greet their visitors. The chief lake, Gokyo Cho, also known as Dudh Pokhari, spans 42.9 ha (106 acres), with Gokyo village nestled on its eastern coast.
