Great experience and achievement of EBC - I had an incredible experience doing the Everest Base Camp trek, and a big part of that was thanks to the agency, Nepal Horizon Treks and Expedition and our guide Sujan Basnet. From the very beginning, the organization was smooth and professional — everything was clearly communicated, and we always felt well taken care of.
The accommodation throughout the trek was better than expected given the altitude and remoteness.
The trek itself was, of course, challenging, but perfectly paced. The itinerary allowed enough time for proper acclimatization, and I always felt safe and supported. Sujan, was exceptional — attentive, patience, and caring. He adapted the pace when needed, and shared insights about the mountains, culture, and local life that made the experience even more meaningful.
Overall, this was an unforgettable adventure. I would highly recommend this agency to anyone considering the EBC trek — especially if you want a safe, well-organized, and enriching experience.

Wonderful Everest Gokyo trek - I did a 14 day EBC/Gokyo Trek in March 2026 with Nepal Horizon Treks. It was an absolutely stunning, breathtakingly beautiful trek which I highly recommend!
My experience with Horizon Treks has been overwhelmingly positive. Dipendra showed professionalism and care and went beyond my expectations in the planning. The trek price was very reasonable; I was able to hire a sleeping bag, duffel bag and ice crampons through them and they also checked my luggage to ensure I was well equipped for the trek. Dipendra messaged me several times during the trek to ensure all was well.
My guide, Netra was knowledgeable, kind, and took very good care of me, always communicating our next steps and discussing the itinerary together. He walked at my pace, and checked my progress and oxygen levels at altitude.
I felt very safe because of Netra's experience. He has taken over 100 EBC treks and 50 Gokyo treks. In an emergency, you want a guide who knows how to respond. In my case, arriving to the summit of the 5420m Chola Pass I was weak due to low blood sugar (I needed to have managed that better- was my issue). Netra immediately got me sweet drink and food, rubbed my hands, dressed me in extra clothes, put on my ice spikes and got another guide to help bring me down the other side. His priority was to get me off the summit as quickly as possible. He checked on me constantly as I recovered and carried my bag all the way to the next lodge. All I can say is that having an experienced, capable guide like Netra is worth everything in an emergency.
I am so thankful to Nepal Horizon Treks for arranging this awesome trek. I will definitely book my next trek with them!

Thank you Raju - I went on a trek with Nepal Horizon. The Gokyo Lakes/Cho La pass/ Everest Base Camp trek.
Before booking my trek I had a long nice talk with Deep, he explained everything that I needed to know. I left with RAJU as a guide. I was so lucky to go on a trek with him. We laughed a lot, he taught me some nepalese words, we always walked at my rythm, he took really good care of me concerning the altitude sickness and he always made sure I had the best rooms in the teahouses. Plus he only took me to the best teahouse where the food was delicious !! He's really appreciated by the locals in the region.
If you go on a trek with Raju you know you'll have an amazing and safe trek.
I am so happy with me trek!

Amazing destination. Awesome trip. Nepal Horizons Treks was very helpful and accommodating. - Nepal Horizons Treks did a great job in arranging this trip for us. Our guide, DB, and porter, Yambo, were very nice and accommodating. I hope they had as much fun as we did during our time together in the EBC route.
Dip, the owner, was also very helpful and accommodating. He went the extra mile to assist me in all the requirements to get my travel document, as temporary replacement for the lost passport I lost while hiking.
Indeed, booking Nepal Horizon Treks was one of the best decisions we did for this trip. We will definitely book them again and recommend them to our friends.

Amazing experience and the best service we could have asked for our EBC trek! - If you are in Nepal looking for a trustworthy trekking company, Horizon is the one! Myself and my boyfriend found this company online and went to the office in Kathmandu where we met Dip. He was very welcoming and informative and gave us a very good price and package to trek up to everest base camp. We were introduced to our guide Ramesh Babu the following day to plan our trek and to get to know eachother. Ramesh is an excellent guide with good English and he looked after us so well throughout the trek. He is very easy to talk to and does everything in his power to keep you happy, safe and comfortable. Unfortunately I developed an illness on the way down from EBC and was later diagnosed with dengue fever, however Ramesh looked after me so well and Dip was very pro active in helping me arrange medical assistance and evacuation. He also helped me call my insurance etc. Dip kindly came to meet me at the hospital and visited me during my stay to make sure everything was ok.
Our porter was called Om Karki and he was very kind, strong and so very helpful during our trek.
Id honestly reccommend this company if you are considering any treks or other activities whilst in Nepal. The customer service is outstanding and Dip does everything in his power to make sure that you are happy.
Also, the accommodation and meals provided are comfortable and tasty!
You will get sleeping bag, coat, walking sticks etc included which is an added bonus!
Overall, very trustworthy, professional, well equiped and outstanding company with kind hearted and genuine workers. Thank you so much for a great experience and for looking after me so well when I was in need!! 10/10.

P.s. Dip who owns the company also owns a hotel called Khangsar Guest House which is perfectly located in Thamil. Very good price and convenient to stay prior and after thr trek.

Nice trekking - The trekking was how i imagine it.
Beautiful landscape and walk.
Dip the owner from the agency was really helpful from the start and always available.
He planned everything for me and I did not need to worry about anything.
I felt welcomed from the start to the end.
As I am a single woman travelling, he made sure I was comfortable with the guide and in the lodges.
The guide was serious and understood my needs.
Everything went well and I will keep good memories of this travel.

Gokyo trecking best company nepal - This is the first time I've been with Nepal Horizon Trek and Expeditions. After 2 exchanges on Whatsapp his manager Dipendra organized me the trek, flights on lukla the porter guide, airport transfers and nights in Kathmandu for a small deposit on Paypal, His offices are very well located in the middle of Thamel. The guide was very helpful throughout the trip and greatly facilitated local contacts. I was very satisfied with his performance. I think that for not having to organize anything on my side the price paid was quite reasonable. I recommend Nepal Horizon Trek and Expeditions to everyone.

Amazing Trip EBC with Nepal Horizon Treks & Expedition - Nepal Horizon Treks & Expedition did a great job to help me finish this EBC trekking.
Mr. Dipendra ( Managing Director) was super friendly, supportive, and professional. He was always in high spirits and made sure i had everything i needed.
Mr. DB Rai (Guide) always smile, cheerful, well knowledge, supportive, fun and professional.
My trekking (solo) completed one day earlier and flights from Lukla to Kathmandu were full booked, Nepal Horizon Treks & Expedition arranged a helicopter trip back to Kathmandu!! Whoop!!
Everything for my trek went perfectly

Incredible experience in Everest trekking - An incredible experience. It is my first time in Nepal and I was lucky to arrive at Khangsar Guest Hotel and meet Dip, his manager, who helped me organize all the trekking to Everest. His attention and help were constant, prior, during and post trekking. I was also fortunate that my guide was Raju Amgain, who with all his experience and knowledge of the sport, geography and culture of the place, made trekking to Everest Base Camp exceed my expectations. Both were always at my disposal, either to take care of the altitude sickness, to give me the best food and to sleep in the best places on the mountain.
If you come to Nepal and plan to do some trekking, do not hesitate to do it with Nepal Horizon Treks & Expedition. It is quality guarantee.

Excellent service, best deal for EBC trek. - All inclusive, best deal for an EBC trek. Grateful for Dip & the crew for the great accommodation and trek experience. Dip makes sure all clients'needs are taken cared of. From arrival, homestays, actual trek, side trip and departure, can rely on Dip and his team to help and do necessary arrangements. All the staff are friendly and nice. My guide / hiking buddy, DB Dai is well experience and knowledgeable of the trail and the mountains. Will definitely be going with Nepal Horizon Treks and Expedition again for future adventures in Nepal. They also seem to have a number of repeat customers which affirms the quality of experience the team provides to their guests.
