Note: If you happen to arrive after 4 pm you would be briefed about the EBC trek by our guide, this will be the pre-trip meeting for you, so please make sure that you ask all the questions. But if you arrive earlier than 4 pm, your pre-trip meeting would be on that very day at our office. During the meeting, we will introduce your trek leader/guide. For the meeting, please make sure you bring the passport, three copies of passport-size photos and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. During this meeting, please clear the due balance, if any, and sign the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer.

The Everest Base Camp Trek offers a unique chance to explore high-altitude locations that few people worldwide have the opportunity to visit. Follow in the footsteps of legendary climbers Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay as you trek along the foothills of the majestic Himalayan mountains, including the towering Mount Everest (8,848 m). Experience the awe of standing in their immense shadows. Along the way, enjoy the warm hospitality and rich culture of the Sherpa people, immerse yourself in Buddhist spiritualism with trails adorned with mani stones, chortens, and vibrant prayer flags, and take in the breathtaking mountain vistas.
NOTE: In 2019 and 2020, flights between Lukla and Kathmandu were rerouted to Manthali Airport in the Ramechhap district due to heavy air traffic during the peak trekking seasons (March, April, May, October, November). Currently, flights operate directly between Kathmandu and Lukla. Additional costs may apply if airlines do not offer shuttle services or if a private vehicle is preferred over the shared ride provided by the airlines.
- The price is for 1 person based on two people booking. It is also valid for a single person booking. However, if we don’t have an existing group for your chosen departure date or anyone to share the accommodation with you, a single surcharge of USD 250 is applicable which you need to pay upon your arrival in Nepal. At the time of booking, we will inform you if we have a group or not for your date. The single surcharge is also applicable if you don’t want to join any group and want a solo departure.
