Incredible experience - highly recommended - I did the 14-day EBC trek with Ace and my experience was nothing short of incredible. This was my first high altitude trek and as a female solo traveller competing this trek in the winter off-season, I was a little intimidated leading up to the start of the trip. My nerves were put to rest as soon as I met my guide, Nimesh, for the airport pickup. Everything about the trip was really well arranged, from the airport transfers and all the trekking documentation, to sleeping logistics and having enough (warm) drinking water. During the trek, Nimesh blended story telling with historical facts to make the region come alive. Our group’s porters, Sauman, Narayan, and Bishal, went above and beyond through their kindness and attentiveness to the make this a seamless experience. The entire team was very knowledgeable and experienced. Because of their care-filled guidance, our entire group reached Everest Base Camp without any major altitude sickness symptoms. I cannot recommend Ace and this team highly enough.

Great EBC experience with Ace! - My dad and I chose Ace for our EBC trek last fall based on their positive reviews and I’m glad we did! Our guide Rajan and porter Arbin were both fantastic, and we felt everything was well organized and that we were well taken care of the whole time. The trek itself was beautiful as well! On the way back from base camp we needed a helicopter evacuation due to an injury, and Rajan coordinated with the main office and helicopter company to get us out amazingly quickly and smoothly - we were definitely in great hands in what would have otherwise been a difficult situation to deal with on our own. Highly recommend both Ace and the EBC trek and can’t wait to come back to Nepal for another trek!

Best way to experience the Himalayas - I went solo in October 2025 and it was one of the best decisions of my life. My group was 8 including myself and our awesome guide Kishor and I couldn’t have asked for better people to trek up to base camp with. Kishor knew so much history and practical advice for getting through the trek and kept us laughing the entire time. Ace The Himalaya is a very professional company with lots of trekking knowledge and makes sure everything you need is taken care of. We definitely had a couple hiccups on the trek but Kishor handled everything brilliantly and made sure we were safe and had fun. Couldn’t recommend this company enough.

The amazing adventure - It was an experience of a lifetime logistics for laid out so perfectly there was no doubt that y’all knew what you were doing. Chris was overwhelmingly, gracious and knowledgeable on every little aspect along the way to Basecamp. The sharing of stories between all of us, the making sure that everything we needed was taken care of. I was amazed at his actual concern and intimacy that he had for the needs of us three that went. I have recommended not only ace a Himalayas, but also Chris as a guide with over enthusiastic support.

Unforgettable winter experience - I highly recommend this tour at this time of year. From day one, the organisation and staff were outstanding, from the airport pickup to the pre-trek briefing, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The following day we met our guide, Maddy, along with our two porters, Saman and Sher, and from that point on the trip was absolutely incredible. Saman and Sher were fantastic throughout the entire journey, sharing their expertise while always ensuring our safety and taking great care of our belongings. Their positivity, laughter, and professionalism truly elevated the experience. Sharing a couple of beers on the way back was a great memory. While trekking, they made sure I was always in good hands, and any question I had was met with genuine care and helpful advice. Maddy was an exceptional guide from start to finish. His knowledge of the mountains and local wildlife was outstanding, and safety was always his top priority. He constantly offered guidance on how to get the most out of the trek while helping us manage altitude and stay healthy. His happiness and excitement were contagious, and he played a huge role in making this experience unforgettable, especially when we reached the base camp and achieved all our goals. For anyone looking for a winter adventure with crystal-blue skies and truly unforgettable moments, I couldn’t recommend a better experience. From day one until our return to Kathmandu, this trip was nothing short of amazing. Thank you to the entire Ace team for an unforgettable journey.

Excellent company to do EBC, would use them again - This company deserves the high praise it gets. Our experience in summer with EBC tour with helicopter return was excellent. Nepali people are extremely polite, modest and humble. You will observe this during your entire stay which makes your visit to this beautiful country memorable. This also applies to ACE. All staff from the receptionist at the office to your guide, porter to the owner of the company are down-to-earth, humble people trying to make sure you get the best service. You can see the company has been doing business for years. Our guide was Kishore. He was recognized by locals everywhere all the way up to the base camp. He made sure we got excellent service at all hostels. You can see the guides are experienced when you trek with them. They know what your ability is and make sure the pace is right. They carry medicine and emergency oxygen and understand when it is necessary. The last day is exhausting and you just have to take it slow and that is what they will guide you through instead of using medicine. There are also mules along the way if you are really at your limit or injured. The guides also have direct contact with helicopters going up and down the whole day. So if you do need evacuation, I am sure they can summon helicopter within minutes. Our porter was Lochan. A slim teenager weighing probably 100 lb or less. These guys are amazing. He would go ahead with our duffel bags everyday weighing 45 lb total and will be waiting at the next location before us. Be sure to tip both the guide and porter generously. They will be with you 10+ days and a big part of your successful trek.
