An incredible adventure with brilliant support - The Everest Base Camp Trek is a truely unforgetable experience. We were so grateful to Icicles for this fantastic and truely personalised adventure. Whilst the Treking groups for Icicles are smaller than other company's we were thankful that they were willing to run the trip for just the two of us. Lok our guide was incredibly supportive and full of advice for us throughout the Trek to help us to minimise the risk of altitude sickness and enjoy our trip to the fullest. We cant thank Lok or Rames (our porter) enough for their help throughout the trip enabling us to sit back and enjoy the Trek whilst in safe hands.
We enjoyed so many of the voluntary activities included in the trip including the trip to the recycling centre with the carry back scheme and our highlight was the sunrise Trek to Kalipattar, seeing Mount Everest whilst the sun rose around us.
It is an interesting Trek throughout full of incredible challenges and Lok and Rames were there throughout to provide all the support needed to assist with this whilst also sharing information about the area and their culture. I would highly recommend this trip and Icicles to anyone.

Fantastic experience. Fantastic company to go with - Wow! What an amazing experience - but you’ve got to really want to do this, train hard and dig deep.
Nothing compares to that moment at EBC. Huge thanks to my guide Puja and Ranjit our porter. I could never have made it up or down without them and Puja was with me every step of the way and incredibly patient when I was so slow

EBC Trek - Had an absolutely wonderful experience on the EBC trek from start to finish. The trip is incredibly well organised and made accessible for everyone. Huge shout out to Puja, couldn’t have asked for a better guide to lead the trip. She always made sure that we were well looked after, was always so enthusiastic and willing to answer any and all questions about the local area. I highly recommend Icicles for any trekking adventure in Nepal.

Amazing base camp trek experience - I couldn’t have been happier with this trek. Thanks to Icicles, I was able to safely enjoy the wonders of the Himalayas without a single worry. Anish did an incredible job making sure we were safe and enjoying every moment of the trip. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I would not hesitate to book with them again.

Once in a lifetime experience! - Once in a lifetime adventure! From the moment we landed to being dropped off at the airport we were looked after by Indira, Sarala and Dekiss. From our daily itinerary, what to wear and advice on local culture, were all felt like we were in safe hands. We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure. They have a 100% success rate for a reason. I’d highly recommend this company. Thank you all for making our adventure the best experience we’ve had.

2026 EBC Trek Overnight Camp - Neel Guide - Booked an EBC trip with the experience to camp overnight through The Adventure People. The Icicles Adventure managed this trek so smoothly - everything was stress free so we could focus on our amazing experience hiking to and from Everest Base Camp. We were given brand new duffle bags, clean sleeping bags & down jackets to borrow for this trip - they were in great condition and kept me so warm!
During the hike, our group of 4 were paired with the most amazing guide ever - Neel & the 2 porters Nischal & Bhim/Raju. Neel accommodated to our pace, taught us about the mountains, animals, and culture. His personality was warm, made us feel very safe and accommodated to the smallest detail. For example, he would make sure we had seats closest to the heaters at the tea houses, remembered our favourite drink orders, noticed we weren’t eating the skin off of apples and made sure they were peeled for us. Our group loved hiking to Basecamp, but we loved doing this hike more with Neel + Nischal & Bhim. The porters were always so kind to us, smiling and we saw them work very hard & ensured our bags got to the next destination safely. During the trek when myself and another member were struggling, the porters would come back to help us and carry our day bags. We could not have done this without them. I enjoyed the times I got to play card games with them too, I wish I had more time with them.
This trek was amazing, but it was more special because of Neel, Nischal & Bhim. They are some of the most amazing, hard working and admirable people I’ve ever met. It was very difficult to say goodbye, I wish them all the best, and I’ll recommend this team to anyone! I can’t wait to be back!

Felt in very capable hands.
Cant recommend highly enough.
Made our trip of a lifetime even more exceptional.

One of the best things I’ve ever done! - I had an unforgettable trip to Everest base camp with Icicles adventures. From the start to finish it was so well organised. The guide Diwakar was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the whole hike always ensuring I was safe and happy. He really looked after us! The views were incredible from day one and Diwakar took the time to tell us so much useful information about the oh so special Himalaya mountains. I can’t wait to come back for more hiking trips - thank you Icicles for making my bucket list of teaching Everest Base Camp come true. I’ll never forget it!

10/10 couldn't recommend more - I recently completed the 12 day track to Everest Base Camp and back, would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made it possible, during the track everything was taken care of, from the accommodation to 3 meals a day allowing me to fully focus on the trecking.
A massive thank you to my guides, Lok, for leading the group, and his knowledge of the mountains giving everyone confidence throughout the track. And to Dikesh, for taking us up to Lala Patthar at 5,600 meters which for me was the highlight of the trip! His English is also excellent, which made a big difference and added to the experience, helping me push through the high altitude.
Would highly recommend as was an unforgettable experience, and would highly recommend Icicles if considering doing Everest Base Camp!
