Journey to Chitwan (415m/1,362ft)

Chitwan National Park - Following breakfast, the journey to Chitwan for a wildlife adventure begins. The 5-6 hour drive along the Mugling-Narayanghat road offers picturesque views and the lively ambiance of the plains. Upon reaching Chitwan, guests will check into the resort.

After lunch, there is a village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village, providing insights into the life and culture of the Tharu people. A visit to the National Park visitor’s center offers information about the park’s history, wildlife, and a sunset view from the Rapti River bank. In the evening, the Tharu Cultural Dance Program, performed by the Tharus in their vibrant traditional attire, will be a memorable highlight of the visit to Chitwan.

Wildlife Activities in Chitwan (415m/1,362ft)

Chitwan National Park - This day is dedicated to exploring Chitwan’s wilderness with a full day of jungle activities. A canoe ride along the Rapti River provides opportunities for bird watching and spotting two rare crocodile species: the Marsh Mugger and the fish-eating Gharial. On the return, a visit to the Elephant Breeding Center is possible. After lunch, a Jeep safari inside Chitwan National Park offers a chance to see various wildlife, including four types of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkeys, leopards, sloth bears, and possibly the Royal Bengal Tiger. Numerous smaller mammals also inhabit Chitwan.

Return Drive to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

Kathmandu Valley - After breakfast, the scenic route back to Kathmandu is retraced. Upon arrival, guests will be taken to the hotel to relax and refresh. In the evening, a representative from K.J Adventures will pick up guests for a farewell dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.
