Hotel Pickup, Drive to Chitwan by Private Vehicle, Tharu Cultural Dance Show
Chitwan National Park - Guests will be collected from their hotel by a tour operator holding a placard with their name, followed by a scenic 5-hour drive to Chitwan in a comfortable vehicle. Upon arrival, guests will be escorted to their lodge for check-in and receive a brief overview of the lodge, its amenities, and the day’s schedule.
At 1 pm, a buffet lunch will be served, followed by some leisure time. At 3 pm, guests will embark on a village tour in the Tharu community to learn about their lifestyle and culture. This will be followed by a visit to the National Park Visitor’s Center to gain insights into the park’s history and wildlife.
At 7 pm, guests can choose between a Tharu cultural dance performance by local villagers, which they can participate in, or a slideshow presentation about Chitwan. The day will conclude with a buffet dinner at 8 pm, and an overnight stay at a local hotel is included.
Chitwan Jungle Activities
Chitwan National Park - A wake-up call will be followed by morning tea at 6 am, with a buffet breakfast served at 6:30 am. At 7 am, guests will go bird watching and enjoy a canoe ride along the Rapti River, where they can observe two rare crocodile species - the Marsh Mugger and Gharial. The return journey includes a walk through the jungle to witness various flora and fauna. A buffet lunch will be served at 1 pm.
At 3 pm, guests will embark on a jeep safari, offering an excellent opportunity to see four types of deer, rhinoceroses, wild boars, monkeys, leopards, sloths, and possibly Bengal tigers. Many other smaller mammals that inhabit Chitwan National Park can also be seen. Guests will visit the Tharu Cultural Museum. The day will conclude with a buffet dinner served at 8 pm.
Return to Kathmandu by Private Vehicle
Chitwan National Park - After breakfast and some free time, guests will depart from the hotel at 9 am for a 5-hour drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, they will be dropped off at their hotel in Kathmandu.
