The pinnacle of the hill is home to the Bhaleshwor Mahadev temple, revered for its believed wish-fulfilling abilities. The temple’s name is derived from a legend wherein the forehead/Bhala of Lord Shiva’s wife fell on this site as he carried her lifeless body.
