Thamel - Upon arriving at Kathmandu airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by a professional guide and driver, who will be waiting at the exit with a sign displaying their name. During the comfortable transfer to the hotel, the guide will offer a brief introduction to Nepal and address any questions. Upon reaching the hotel, guests will be greeted with a refreshing drink and have the rest of the day to relax and explore independently. For solo travelers, a tourist bus will be provided, which will take approximately 7-8 hours from Kathmandu to Pokhara. If preferred, a flight to Pokhara is available for an additional USD 120 per person.

A canoe ride along the Rapti river offers an excellent opportunity for bird watching and for seeing the two rare species of crocodiles: the Marsh Mugger and the fish-eating Gharial. The Jeep Drive goes through the grasslands, riverine forests, and sal forests to Kasara (the National Park’s headquarters) Gharial Hatchery Farm, where guests will learn about how crocodiles are raised at this farm and then later released into the rivers.
