Arrival in Kathmandu and Hotel Transfer

Kathmandu - A representative from the company will greet you at the international airport terminal gate and escort you to your hotel. You will have some time to relax. In the evening, you will meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby for a briefing on the day 2 itinerary.

Trek Preparation Day

Kathmandu - In the evening, you and your trek guide will organize and prepare all necessary gear for the journey.

Drive to Machhakhola (869m) in a Private Vehicle

Machhakhola - After breakfast, the journey to Machhakhola begins. The route passes through Arughat and Sotikhola. You will travel on a paved road until just past Arughat, then continue on a dirt road to Machhakhola.

Trek to Deng (1860m)

Trek to Namrung (2630m)

Namrung - The trail starts narrow and relatively flat, passing through a landslide area before reaching Ghap by crossing several bridges. After Ghap, you will cross more bridges over the Budi Gandaki River and walk through beautifully cultivated fields. After the final bridge, you will ascend through a lovely low alpine forest to Namrung, a charming highland village with Tibetan-like inhabitants.

Trek to Shayla (3500m)

Trek to Samagaun (3520m)

Samagaun - Today, you will hike to Punggyen Gompa before trekking to Samagaun with a packed lunch. The trek passes through pastures and crosses a river from the Pung Gyen glacier. From Pungyen Gompa, enjoy a stunning panoramic view of surrounding peaks and the eastern face of Manaslu. You will then descend the same path and join the main trail to Samagaun, the largest village in the Manaslu region.

Rest Day

Samagaun - Today is a rest day. You will take a short excursion to Birendra Lake for acclimatization. During the hike, you may encounter wildlife such as the Himalayan Thar.

Trek to Samdo (3875m)

Samdo - Trek through birch and juniper forests and small villages. Cross the wooden bridge over the Buddhi Gandaki River to reach Samdo village, a small Tibetan refugee settlement.

Trek to Dharamsala (4450m)

Trek to Bimtang (3590m)

Bimthang - Start early after breakfast. A short climb leads to the north side of the Larkya glacier. The trail ascends steeply to the top of the Larke La Pass, offering breathtaking views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kangguru, Annapurna II, and other peaks. Descend to Bimtang, entering the Annapurna region of the Manang district. This day is longer and more challenging than others.

Trek to Dharapani (1860m)

Dharapani - After breakfast, pass the Kechakyu Khola Glacier and trek through lush rhododendron forests. Enjoy beautiful views of Mt. Manaslu along the way. Reach Gho village and continue to Tilije, a charming old village inhabited by the Gurung people. From here, facilities for hot showers, wifi, and electricity are available.

Drive to Kathmandu (1350m), 10 hours

Kathmandu - Drive to Kathmandu via Besishahar. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner organized by the company.

TIA - After breakfast, a company representative will escort you to the airport for your flight home.
