BEST TRIP EVER - I was quite nervous about taking on this trek as it was the first trek my husband and I have done. My husband is 67 and I’m 56 yrs old. However, once we connected with Nepal Hiking Team my fears began to dissipate. Before we got to Nepal Ganga and his brother were so responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. They arranged everything - our hotels, flights, Chitwan tours, meals - everything for a 20 day trip in Nepal. We got to Kathmandu and met them along with our incredible guide, Prazzwal Karki. Our trek was extraordinary. Prazzwal went above and beyond and took such incredibly good care of us - explained everything, booked us in fabulous tea houses, took care of me when I got sick and was patient, kind, funny and very professional. Other trekkers also commented on how lucky we were to have such a fabulous guide. Our porter Rabin was also extraordinary - doing such heavy work and always with a warm smile. They both worked hard to ensure we had the best possible experience. We did and it was a trip of a lifetime - I highly recommend Nepal Hiking Team and you must ask for Prazzwal and Rabin!

Trip of a lifetime to ABC - We had an amazing time trekking to Annapurna Base Camp with Bhim as our guide and Kishna as our porter. From when we arrived in Nepal, and all the way through our trip, we were very well looked after by Nepal Hiking Team. Bhim was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, and nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend using NHT.

Unforgettable experience in Nepal - We completed the Annapurna Circuit with the Nepal Hiking Team over 14 days, including the drive to our starting point in Dharapani and the return flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Every one of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and we all would choose Nepal Hiking Team again for any future treks in the Himalayas. Preparation: Communication with the Nepal Hiking Team, particularly with Ganga who coordinated our trip, was smooth, quick, and very helpful. We received a detailed itinerary and a practical guidebook in advance, which allowed us to prepare thoroughly for the journey. Costs: After comparing several trekking agencies, we found that the Nepal Hiking Team offered the best value for what we wanted to be included in the trip. Looking back after the trip, the cost-to-service ratio was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. Guides and Porters: Our group was supported by one main guide (Thakal Gurung), one assistant guide (Govinda Adhilari), and two porters (Milan Gurung and Ramshram Karki). Takal impressed us with his extensive knowledge of the mountains, routes, and local cultures. At higher altitudes (above 4000 meters), its normal to experience some some mild altitude-related issues and so did we. Thakal handled these situations calmly and professionally, making us feel well cared for. Govinda ensured that everything ran smoothly in the lodges and along the trail — even stepping in to carry a bag when a group member wasn’t feeling well. Milan and Ramshram were exceptional, carrying our belongings every day with both speed and care. The entire team was attentive, reliable, and genuinely kind. We shared many evenings together playing cards after dinner, and we all agree that they played a major role in making the trip so memorable. Lodges: We were very pleased with all the lodges along the route. Each offered good food, private rooms, and a comfortable place to rest. The hotels selected in Kathmandu (Woodapple Hotel) and Pokhara (Hotel Mount View Pokhara) were excellent as well: clean, well-located, friendly staff and, importantly, hot showers! Minor feedback for improvement: - The walking distances and times listed in the itinerary didn’t always match the actual ones we measured during the trek. Providing more accurate estimates would make planning the hiking days easier. -Since we traveled during high season, our guides and porters had to leave us in Pokhara right away for their next assignment. We would have loved to spend our last evening there (as scheduled) together with them to express our appreciation for their fantastic work. Allowing this opportunity would make the overall experience even more rewarding for both guests and staff

ABC Trek - We greatly enjoyed our trek to ABC. Our guide, Deepak Dhakal was fantastic. He was very receptive to our needs and wishes. He repeatedly changed the itinerary of the hikes throughout the hike to accommodate for issues we had with acclimatisation, and for the weather. We really appreciated his adaptability! He also taught us many things about Nepali culture, and he was knowledgable about the mountains and the nature. Our porter, Pradip was simply wonderful. He carried our bags with a smile on his face every day, helped us at tea houses and even taught us Nepali words throughout the trek. The trek itself was beautiful. We loved the nature, the villages and especially the sunrise at Poon Hill. Overall, we were really happy with our experience and we would absolutely recommend our guide & porter, Nepal Hiking team and the trek.

Trip of a lifetime on the Annapurna Circuit with the best team! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - We just finished the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Nepal Hiking Team, and it was truly a trip of a lifetime. The mountains, the nature, and the sense of achievement were incredible — but what made it extra special were the people guiding us through it. Our guide Bibek was fantastic. He shared so much about the mountains, local culture, religion, and history that we really felt immersed in Nepal rather than just passing through it. His calm, safety-first approach to acclimatisation meant our entire group made it up to 5,416m without any altitude issues — which is no small feat! We were also lucky to have Shankar as our assistant guide. He kept spirits high, set a perfect pace, and was always ready with a smile or a helping hand. Both Bibek and Shankar made the trek not only safe but fun — from evening games to sharing local tips and jokes, they created such a great atmosphere within the group. We couldn’t recommend Nepal Hiking Team enough. If you’re thinking about doing the Annapurna Circuit, go for it — and if you get Bibek and Shankar, you’re in for an unforgettable adventure.

Fantastic Annapurna Circuit Trek with Bibek from the Nepal Hiking Team! - My girlfriend and I did the Annapurna Circuit with Nepal Hiking Team, and it was one of the best experiences of our lives. Our guide Bibek was absolutely outstanding — knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely fun to be around. He took great care to make sure everyone in our group acclimatized safely and comfortably, keeping a close eye on how we were doing as we gained altitude. His calm and confident approach made the whole trek feel safe and well-organized. Bibek also made the evenings a lot of fun — we spent time playing cards and chatting about the mountains, culture, and life in Nepal. He really brought our small group together. Our assistant guide Sankar was fantastic too — always helpful, cheerful, and attentive. Together they made the trek smooth, enjoyable, and memorable from start to finish. I can’t recommend Nepal Hiking Team highly enough. If you’re thinking about doing the Annapurna Circuit (or any trek in Nepal), ask for Bibek and Sankar — you’ll be in the best hands possible!

Ram is an amazing guide! - We had a really good time on the Annapurna Circuit with Ram. He is an awesome guide - every night, he will share the necessary information and give us tips on how to approach the next day. During the day, he allowed us to go at a comfortable speed and never rushing us - helping us to acclimatize better. At the end of the day, he will check on us and also goes the extra mile to meet our special request. Amazing guide with alot of experience.

Ramesh, our guide, was incredible from start to finish — extremely knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. He knew exactly how to manage altitude sickness and could spot the early signs right away, which made us feel safe and well cared for throughout the trek. The whole team — including Gokul, Ram, Sanjaya, and Surendra — were absolutely incredible and so accommodating. We were treated like family and felt truly cared for every step of the way. It was such a special experience to connect with the team and the Nepali culture while trekking through the most breathtaking views. The logistics were seamless, and the entire experience was truly unforgettable!

Fantastic views with fantastic guides! - Did the short version of the Annapurna Circuit in September, and was blown away with beautiful weather, (some rain and mostly sun), and a great tour with some friends. Our group came in two separate plane rides and was picked up by Ramesh our guide from the airport. The entire adventure start to finish was handled both professionally and personally, with the guides and porters giving a friendly vibe, and added to the group experience. From obviously carrying all the gear, snacks, and medicine, to handling the issues we had with grace, I would recommend the company and our guides specifically to anyone I know. Really enjoyed the time with spent there, and the people along the way made it all the better! Shoutout to Ramesh, Gokul, Ram, Sanjaya, and Surendra!
