Kathmandu - Upon arrival in Kathmandu, a welcoming representative will greet you and escort you to your pre-arranged hotel. After completing the check-in process and taking a brief rest, you will be introduced to the vibrant market of Thamel. Here, you can enjoy dinner, exchange currency, shop for essentials, or purchase trekking gear. Later, you will be taken to our office for a trip briefing. Overnight stay at your hotel. Any delays will result in rescheduling activities for the following day, as feasible.
Kathmandu Sightseeing - 4 hrs tour:
Kathmandu Valley - Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. The sightseeing tour includes visits to two significant religious, cultural, and artistic sites: Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa. Pashupatinath Temple is one of South Asia’s most renowned Hindu temples, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. The Bagmati River, flowing beside the temple, holds spiritual significance for Hindus, as it is a site for cremation rituals. The temple is especially prominent during Shivaratri, Shiva’s birthday, attracting thousands of pilgrims. Boudhanath Stupa, one of Nepal’s largest stupas, is located east of Kathmandu and offers a peaceful atmosphere enriched by Tibetan and Sherpa cultural influences. After a brief city tour, return to the hotel to prepare for the trek.
Drive Kathmandu – Pokhara(900m/2952ft) | Drive 7 hrs.
Pokhara Lakeside - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on an early morning drive to Pokhara. The journey along the winding mountain highway is long but exhilarating. Upon arrival in Pokhara, spend the rest of the day exploring the lakeside and its surroundings. Alternatively, you may opt for a scenic seven-hour drive along the mountain highway to reach Pokhara.
Drive to Galeshwor, and Trek to Bas Kharaka (1525m/5003ft) | 4 hrs drive and 3 hrs walk.
Kali Gandaki River - After breakfast at your hotel, drive to Galeshwor via a winding mountain highway, a journey of approximately four hours. The drive follows the Kaligandaki River, offering views of hills and small roadside houses and shops. Upon reaching Galeshwor, prepare for a three-hour walk to the village of Bas Kharka. The trek begins with a suspension bridge crossing over the Kali Gandaki River. Along the way, enjoy the village life, agricultural fields, and farms. Dinner will be served at the eco-community lodge, with an overnight stay at a homestay.
Trek to Nangi (2300m/7545ft) | 6 hrs walking.
Annapurna Region - After breakfast at the community lodge, continue the trek to Nangi. The trail passes through picturesque villages, offering stunning mountain views and impressive landscapes. The village is home to the Magar people, one of Nepal’s largest ethnic communities, known for their unique language and culture. In the afternoon, explore organic farms and a local school.
Trek to Mohare Danda (3300m /10826ft) | 7 hrs walking.
Annapurna Mountain Range - Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before heading to Mohare Danda, the trek’s final destination. Today’s trail is scenic, winding through forests with breathtaking views of Himalayan peaks, including Machapuchre, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri. This location is renowned for its sunrise and sunset vistas. Today is the most challenging day of the trek, with an elevation gain of nearly one thousand meters.
Trek to Deurali (3020m/9908ft) | 5 hrs walking.
Annapurna Region - Witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the Himalayan peaks, including Machapuchre, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and others. After breakfast at the lodge, trek to Deurali. The trail passes through Gorepani, a popular trekking destination in the Annapurna region, famous for sunrise views from Poon Hill, located above the town. This is the busiest town in the region.
Trek to Ghandruk village (1940m/6364ft) | walking duration 5 hrs.
Ghandruk - After breakfast, trek to Ghandruk village. Today’s trail meanders through a beautiful forest, leading to Ghandruk, a renowned village offering spectacular views of Annapurna South and Himchuli. Enjoy the Gurung museum and cultural experiences.
Trek to Syauli Bazar (1010 m/3313ft) and Drive to Pokhara(900m/2952ft)/ 2 hrs walk and 2.5 hrs drive:
Pokhara Exploration and fly Kathmandu | 4 hrs exploration and 25 mins flight.
Pokhara - After breakfast, explore the enchanting city of Pokhara. Visit Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwar Cave, and the International Mountain Museum, which provides comprehensive information on mountaineering expeditions and the Himalayan peaks. After this invigorating city tour, return to the hotel for lunch. Later, transfer to Pokhara Airport for a captivating flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, a representative will escort you to your hotel.
Cultural Tour of Kathmandu City / 4 hrs.
Kathmandu Valley - After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a fascinating tour of Kathmandu city. This historical, cultural, and spiritual city reveals its social and historical secrets to visitors. Stroll through the narrow lanes of ancient Kathmandu, the center of power, including the markets of Ason, the Glass Beads Market at Indrachowk, the oldest supermarket at New Road, Kilagal, and hidden stupas within family courtyards. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, the administrative center of the Malla Kings (14th to 18th century) and Shah Kings, who ruled Nepal from 1768 to 2008. A unique experience in the square is visiting the temple of the living goddess “Kumari.” After the tour, return to your hotel. If staying in Thamel, enjoy exploring this bustling tourist market and shopping.
