• Kasteli - After a 3-hour and 30-minute drive, the journey reaches Kastelli-Kissamos, where the boat is boarded at the port to sail around the Gramvousa peninsula.
• Gramvousa Beach - Gramvousa Island is linked to the fight for Crete’s liberation from Ottoman rule. For three years, 3,000 revolutionaries used the island as a refuge, resorting to piracy to address food shortages. Today, Gramvousa is a significant bird habitat in the Eastern Mediterranean, situated along a major bird migration route. It is home to over 100 bird species and 400 plant varieties. The island features one of Crete’s most impressive castles, perched 137 meters above sea level, and is well worth the 15-minute hike up the footpath. Suitable footwear and a hat are recommended during summer.
• Balos Lagoon - Another destination is Balos Lagoon, where visitors will spend 2 hours and 30 minutes enjoying the paradise of Crete. It is truly one of the finest beaches on the island.
