Excellent Guided Hike - Hiking with Fotios was our second activity with Explore Messinia during our trip and it was a great day up in the hills above Kardamyli. We saw things we wouldn’t have seen had we gone on our own. (Frankly, we probably would have gotten lost had we gone on our own!) It was fun to have this time with Fotios, learning about the area, local history and about life in Outer Mani. It was a wonderful day!

Enchanting place - The view is all around you fantastic!! From the multicolored flowers that appeared by thousands, the fields with the white flowers, the fields with the yellow flowers, the triple leaves, the fields with the red-red paparazzi, the swinging almonds, the birds that play and sing, the blue, the perfect blue-blue of the sky, the mountains of Taigetu that begin to green again, the calderas the paths with the shale , all-pebble mantras . And of course the sea, the real sea as we have to say, completely clear clear clear waters, which you don't often find Especially on the beach of Kardamili in Ritsasi

A smiling and friendly guide for a dynamic and cultural discovery of Mani! - This hike with Fotis in Kardamily was a sporting and cultural experience, with breathtaking landscapes, old stones, small and varied paths, olive fields, chapels, small local stories and the great history of the country , all told with humor by our guide.

Amazing kayaking trip along the Mani coast - Great kayaking trip around Kardamyli, I couldn't recommend it more. Roque taught me everything I needed to know about kayaking and ensure I was moving correctly. He gave me many tips to improve my techniques. The tour itself is fun and relaxing and you visit an amazing cave in the beach nearby. Also the picnic was great with the best local products. Roque made everything fun and kept our group safe. I really recommend this tour if you want to see the Mani coast from the sea and have lots of fun.

Hiking and kayaking with professionals that are true animators who bring Greece to life. - My wife and I were in Greece and had someone book a hiking trip and kayaking trip for us. We did not know anything about Explore Messinia. We are so glad we booked the trips because the hiking and the kayaking were some of the best parts of our trip. Fotis took us on a hike in Kardamyli. It is a great hike through the hills and through little villages along the way. We had lunch in the most beautiful spot facing the snow capped mountains. His lunch was the ultimate Greek lunch with fresh vegetables, bread and olive oil, cheese, olives, all sprinkled with his secret ingredients of sea salt and oregano. He is a life long resident of the area so he is the ultimate animator, bringing the hills to life with his stories of history and his real life experiences harvesting the olive trees. If we had another day we would have booked another hike with him. Instead we had a trip with another person in the family business, Giorgos his cousin and his colleague George. Their first priority was to make sure we had fun. Their experience showed through at every turn as they guided us on the shores of the Gulf, giving tips on appropriate technique and safety, along with interesting stories about the culture and the sea. The lunch was as good as what Fotis put together with his own twists of fruit and cheese. I cannot say enough good things about Explore Messinia. Instead of treating us like customers, they treated us like friends and family. When we go back, we will definitely plan a trip with Explore Messinia.

Rising at the top of Taigetu - I participated in the full moon weekend August program with the ascent to the summit and the sunrise with the pyramid of Taygetos. Cave exploration, night stays in a tent all had. Experience, great organization, unbeatable drivers! I highly recommend it!Thank you very much!!

Excellent - I conducted with the company the exploration of the Rintomos canyon and sea kayaking from Kardamili to Kalogria. Having travelled from the Himalayas to the Andes and from the rocky mountains of Canada to the Swiss and Italian Alps, New Zealand and the Pacific Ocean, I must highlight the high level of service, and the observance of all safety standards. It is worth mentioning that all my dealing with Giorgos and Tryfonos was friendly, heartfelt and I feel like I was with a group of friends. Appreciating their level of service, I mentioned that in the future I will participate in other events. I strongly recommend to those who are in Messinian Mana to do the Rintomos Canyon and the sea kayaking I did. These villages the visit to the Mediterranean Mana is for everyone incomplete.

It was an exceptional and nice outcome! - Nice route and good exercises and games! Very nice the cave we went to and the dive to the beach!

Great hike with spectacular views! - My husband and I spent the morning with Trifonas hiking up and out of Kardamyli having no idea what we were in for. Spectacular experience! The hike was challenging but enjoyable. The walk through the hilltop villages were intriguing and a wonderful way to meet locals and enjoy Greek hospitality. The classic Greek meal after we were done was the best- I can still taste the fresh cucumbers and tomatoes with olive oil and bread. Yum!! Totally inspired us to return for more hiking in the Mani Peninsula! Thank you Trifonas and Explore Messinia for a GREAT experience!!

Eye pleasure and historical discovery - Beautiful hike under a blue sky and big sun, led by a very friendly, attentive guide, and sharing all his historical, botanical knowledge with kindness. we were able to appreciate the beauty of the site and ... share a beer after 4 hours walking. Especially drinking a lot, to be expected.
