- Melissani Cave - Situated near Sami, Melissani Cave is a stunning lacustrine cave, fully developed and measuring 3.5 km in length, 40m in width, and 36m in height. This cave is a remarkable geological wonder, formed through a process known as karstification, where water dissolves calcareous rocks, creating cavities. Discovered in 1951 by speleontologist Giannis Petrochilos, the underground Melissani lake is a breathtaking sight, especially where part of the roof has collapsed. In ancient times, the lake was a sacred site dedicated to Pan and the Nymph Melissani. Visitors can access the lake via an underground tunnel and explore it by boat with a guide, marveling at the natural sculptures formed by stalactites and the crystal-clear blue-green waters.
- Drogarati Cave - Nature’s grandeur is on full display in Drogarati Cave, a magnificent natural masterpiece. Upon entering, visitors are immediately captivated by this extraordinary earthly creation, where stalactites and stalagmites have been forming over millennia. Sunlight reflecting off the stalactites creates a surreal atmosphere. The cave features a 44-meter-long descending passageway leading to a chamber measuring 30 x 40 meters. This chamber, adorned with colorful stalactites and stalagmites, is famous for its excellent acoustics and hosts concerts on a special platform at the back wall. The intact domed roof is uniquely and magically formed. Drogarati Cave is a rare geological marvel that draws thousands of visitors.
- Assos - Located in the northern part of the island, the charming village of Assos is nestled along the cliffs of the peninsula, surrounded by pine trees and cypresses. With its traditional architecture and serene landscape, Assos captivates with its tranquility and simplicity.
- Fiscardo - Fiscardo is one of the few places that survived the devastating earthquake of 1953. Many buildings retain their traditional local charm, transporting visitors back in time with grand mansions featuring elegant balconies, old two-story houses, the dark red of roof tiles, the green of the mountainsides, and the blue of the sea, creating an enchanting scene.
- Myrtos Beach - Known as the emblem of Kefalonia, Myrtos Beach has received numerous international accolades as one of the finest beaches in the Mediterranean. Annually, it is awarded the blue flag by the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO). The view from above is unparalleled, offering a breathtaking panorama. The beach features green cliffs leading to a long stretch of white pebbles and the Ionian Sea at its most beautiful.
