Impressive - Spectacular!!!
Just that.
You arrive on your own walking along the beach, right there are a couple of bars where you can eat very well and at a good price and rent mask and fins in case you do not have, costs 2 dollars.
The variety you see in those waters is fabulous.
If you're there you have to.

Had an absolutely great... - Had an absolutely great time! Our guide was amazing saw multiple turtles and plenty of fish. The tour guides were great at making sure ignorant tourists did not touch the wildlife. The boat was so fun and such a unique experience. Would absolutely do this tour again!

Fun time Snorkeling Amed - Our first snorkel tour in Bali. Picked us up from Salt Resort where we were staying then short scenic drive to diving starting spot. Everyone was very helpful in explaining the sites we would be visiting.
Would highly recommend this - lots to see under the water. Beautiful turtles.
We took our own mask & snorkel just used their flippers - but they did offer for us to use their mask & snorkel too.

Friendly and knowledgeable guide, great private experience! - All of the tour hotspots were great: coral forest, turtle shallows, underwater temple and finally Japanese shipwreck.
Our guide on the boat told us where to swim to avoid the current, they found us snorkelling equipment that fit (not easy when my husband has size 45.5 feet)
There's a bar where you depart / land, and toilet facilities and a shower, all included. Plus you can buy a beer!
The only thing I would say is, like others have stated, Amed is far from other Bali towns and, if you aren't staying there and you choose your own transportation, the meeting point we selected was deep into Amed so be prepared for a long and bumpy drive. Although I think you can arrange for collection from Ubud and others.
Also we left our water bottle and they sent a boat after us to another village to give it back. Seriously kind people. Very happy!

Lovely time - Booked this with some friends and picked something in Amed as we heard Blue Lagoon was overcrowded now. It was such a great decision. The prices were extremely reasonable and our guide was very accommodating. The 4 locations we went to were beautiful, we saw turtles, colorful fish, reefs, an underground temple, and obviously the Ship wreck. I started feeling seasick halfway because the waves were a bit rough that day and the guide took me to a beach cafe to rest until I felt better. Also the vehicle we were in was extremely comfortable and our driver was really nice despite it being a 3 hr drive from Ubud.

Extortionate price for what you get. Nothing short of daylight robbery. - I actually loved the snorkeling, and Madeluking (the driver - I was staying 30 minutes from where they keep their boat ) and his father ( he took me out on the boat ) were both very friendly.
My issue is that we got onto the boat it was 9 am and I was dropped off in Amed at 10:30.
That's almost $200AU for 1 1/2 hours and most of that time was spent travelling between the 4 snorkeling sites.
Considering the cost and the extremely short duration the charge for this trip is nothing short of extortion.

Dissatisfied - Extremely disappointing with the price we paid vs the experience we received. The ocean was filled with trash, more so than usual the caption said as it was a windy day so kept blowing into us while trying to snorkel, very disgusting and making to hard to see the coral. Felt very rushed through all 4 stops and no stop for lunch like we hoped. We had all 4 spots done within the hour which was very disappointing when we were very excited to enjoy at a slower pace. Definitely would not book this one again.
