Greatest experience of my life - This was the best experience i've had so far in Sri Lanka, Nandi (King Coconut) was the best teacher ever, she was very informative and talked us through the whole process, it was also great being taught new recipes and the meaning behind them. Would recommend to anyone even if you only have a few hours in Kandy!!

Sri Lanken, my new favorite food - The class was wonderful, the food very good. I learned so much and enjoyed the day. Nandy was sweet, funny and very informational. Meeting location on confirmation is not accurate, middle of the street between 2 parking lots. Be sure to verify before hand. Also be prepared that return is not covered. Sad, the price was reasonable. I would have been prepared to pay more in advance than extra at the end.

Amazing Market Tour and Cooking Class - Was truly a unforgettable and amazing experience! We were picked up at our hotel and brought to the markets where each ingredient was explained to us. They also let us sample a variety of fruits. Once we were done with the markets we were transported to a lovely house in the hills where we cooked some of th most amazing Sri Lankan food with Granny. Learnt so much about Sri Lankan food and had the most wonderful time cooking with her. Would highly recommend everyone to give this experience a shot!

Hervorragende Erfahrung - Very good experience! They picked us up from our hotel and we went to the market first. There we learned a lot about vegetables and fruits grown in sri lanka. Granny was so kind in the kitchen. Her daughter in law and granny made this cooking class unforgettable. Thank you!

Exceptional Value for Money! - This cooking experience was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my trip to Sri Lanka. Set in a beautiful house on a lush green hill, the experience was truly outstanding from start to finish. Under the guidance of a charming grandmother, we had the rare opportunity to learn how to prepare seven different types of curries along with papadums. It was fascinating to watch her carefully adjust spice combinations for each vegetable, and I thoroughly enjoyed cooking together with the other participants in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Although the spices used in Sri Lankan curry are surprisingly simple, I felt I was able to glimpse the depth that comes from the balance of ingredients, proportions, and combinations. Everything, including the spices and coconut used here, is home-produced, which made the dishes incredibly fragrant and delicious. Before the cooking session, we also visited a lively local market where we were given explanations about the ingredients while shopping. It was a very immersive experience that made me feel like I was briefly living as a local. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kandy.
