- Sri Muthumariamman Temple - Known as the Sri Muthumariamman Temple, this renowned Hindu temple in Matale is dedicated to the goddess Muthumariamman, believed to bring rain. In Tamil, “Muthu” means pearls, “Mari” means rain, and “Amman” means goddess. Hindus worship this goddess for prosperity. Hinduism was introduced to Sri Lanka from India, and many temples were established on lands owned by English cultivators who brought Tamils from India for agricultural work. The Matale Hindu Temple was constructed in 1874 on land that was previously a paddy field, donated in 1852. In 1983, the temple suffered significant damage due to ethnic conflict in the area.
- Golden Temple of Dambulla - This UNESCO World Heritage site is renowned for its caves, statues, and 2100 square meters of murals. As a sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery, with its five sanctuaries, is the largest and best-preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka.
- Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - Sigiriya is a site of immense historical and cultural importance, offering breathtaking views and ancient ruins. Visitors can climb to the top of the rock and admire the wall paintings along the way.
- Pidurangala Rock - The history of the Pidurangala Rock Temple is closely linked to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. It is believed that monks have inhabited the caves of Pidurangala for 2500 years. Evidence of this is a temple and a 12.5-meter-long reclining Buddha statue built in a cave, reputed to be the largest brick statue in the world.

Full Day Sigiriya Tour - Andry was a great tour guide, taking us up to Sigiriya and Dambulla from Kandy! He took us to an herb garden that explained all the different herbs and medical uses, and got a tour of saffire mining and crafting in Sri Lanka. Was a rainy day, but the tour was great.

Great trip to Sigiria - We had a great trip to Sigiria with Sammy. We have visited the Lion's rock and Pidurangala rock and he has taken a good care of us. He has proposed additional activities too if someone is interested and kept us a good company. Highly recommended

Day trip to Sigirya - Thank you very much for the trip today. Food and local fruits were great and the walk up pidurangala rock was a great suggestion. Great view of Sigiraya from the top.

Great experience with caring driver - We had a wonderful time. Mohamed took great care of us, stopping for fabulous food and fruit and making sure we did what we wanted to on the trip. A special mention is that my husband wasn’t feeling well on the trip home and Mohamed really looked after him, including checking up on him the next day. I really recommend the company and Mohamed and will use them next time we are in Sri Lanka.

Beautiful day with excellent driver - We just came back to Kandy from our day trip to Sigiriya and Dambulla. Our driver Mr. Shukry drove safely and was very helpful with our questions and request. We were asking about local fruit and so we stopped at a fruit stand and had different types of Banana and Mango as well as some Durian.
Also as Sri Muthumari Amman Kovil was closed due to renovation we instead went to a spice garden, which was on our bucket list anyways so it was great to do this on the trip.
Mr Ilham from Pro Escapades was also very friendly and helpful organizing this day trip and another trip for tomorrow.

Great Sigiriya day trip from Kandy. - Mohamed was our driver/guide on our trip to Sigiriya from Kandy. Excellent and interesting trip and Mohamed was always pleasant, friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful day trip. Highly recommended!
