Rohan guided driver highly recommended - My guide and driver for a day Rohan make this trip, really… starting from fruits and street food that he buy for me stoping on the way, finishes fast and experienced driving through all the trip. He really make this trip! Regarding ayurvedic garden, you can easily skip it, for my opinion is just couple of words that said “ doctor” to push you buy their homemade creams/ oils & balms, my opinion, maybe someone really will like it, but not me. As well guy from Ayurvedic garden was very “pushy” and seems was not interested in nothing except to sell something. So this one part was not for me. Craftsman shop was nice, beautiful works, but is really expensive sho and is understandable why, works and quality of wood is awesome, but be ready to spend. Tea excursions was the most interesting and lady that was making it, was very knowledged, but tea itself I didn’t buy there, instead I ask my driver Rohan to bring me to Mlesna tea shop( tea almost same level as Dilmah & Basilur ) were you can buy higher quality tea and twice cheaper than New Giragama tea factory. For no name tea brand they sell 200 gr for 3800 rupees/ 12 $. For me was really interesting Gem stone museum where they tell you how they mine stones/ gems, than showing to you how they cut it and polish and make jewellery. Rafting was great( as I had it for first time), again I didn’t like part that when we didn’t even start our experience and straight away guys propose you extra activities ( that is not including in tour), sliding, jumping in water and so on, than telling to you that we can make photo/ video you can buy it extra after, even though that I have my own GoPro with me, they making pictures, even that I say I don’t need , I have mine. So overall experience was 7/10, because was seems that this trip was made not to knowledge you but to let you spend as much as possible. Only because Rohan and gem stone factory it was bright, if I would know what will expect me, I would not go this excursions, but just hire Rohan as a guide to show me and suggest me places on my own taste, skipping all things that asking you money or trying you sell something. Mr. Rohan I really wish you more and more tourists because service that you provide really worth it. P. S. Almost forget, thank you to gentlemen who go throw all history of Buddhism with us in the first temple that we visit, that was reeeally interesting and I learn a lot 🙏

Full day tour with river rafting - We had a lovely day learning about Sri Lankan culture and visited many different places. We also got to taste different fruits from the locals and tea from the tea factory. It was such a good experience and our driver was a very good tour guide. He showed us the best parts of the area and the beautiful nature.

A cultural experience - Such a cultural experience. Our tour guide, Tony, showed us many places and taught us about the Sri Lankan culture. He also talked about the different things we drove by on our way to the water rafting: besides that, he is a very kind man with humor. We definitely recommend him!
