Excellent Kanazawa Tour with a Knowledgeable Local Guide - I had an amazing experience exploring Kanazawa, Japan with Yuri. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and showed me the city’s most beautiful places including historic districts, cultural sites, and hidden local spots. Kanazawa is famous for attractions like Kenrokuen Garden, traditional geisha districts, and samurai neighborhoods, and having a guide made the experience much more meaningful. I highly recommend her to anyone visiting Kanazawa who wants an authentic and well-organized tour

Fun tour with Yuri! - What a wonderful introduction to Kanazawa on a private tour with Yuri! She met us in our hotel lobby where we opted to walk to the sites and take advantage the brisk clear weather instead of catching the bus. It was much more enjoyable to have someone guide us through the Chaya districts while giving us background information than if we had simply wandered snot on our own, Yuri also gave us lay of the land in Omicho market and we shared an order of seasonal female snow crab. Lunch was an unexpected surprise as we got to enjoy local oden and sashimi at a little restaurant inside of a shop with a beautiful garden view that we would never have found in our own. Tori is truly a wonderful guide with a great introductory tour of Kanazawa.

Exploring Kanazawa with Yuri — A Perfect Way to Experience the City - I had an absolutely wonderful time exploring Kanazawa with Yuri. From the very beginning, she communicated carefully to customize the tour based on my interests, which made the experience feel truly personal and special. It felt less like a typical tour and more like spending the day with a knowledgeable local friend. Yuri shared fascinating stories about Kanazawa’s history, culture, and traditions while guiding me through both famous landmarks and hidden gems I would never have discovered on my own. Her passion for her hometown really shines through, and she created a perfect balance between sightseeing, learning, and simply enjoying the atmosphere of the city. She also introduced me to local food, answered every question with great insight, and helped me capture beautiful photos along the way. The pacing of the tour was excellent, making the half-day experience feel relaxed yet incredibly fulfilling. I highly recommend this tour — you’ll leave feeling connected to the city and wishing you had more time.

Even though I’m a local, I left with wonderful new discoveries - I was born and raised in Ishikawa and thought I knew Kanazawa very well. But when I joined this tour and walked around with our guide, Yuri, my perspective completely changed. It turned into a half-day trip full of surprises. In Higashi Chaya District, she showed us small details I had never noticed before, like the markers on the ground that guide visitors to scenic viewpoints. In Kenrokuen Garden, she explained through fun quiz-style stories how wealthy the Maeda family was when they ruled this region. I learned so many new things about places I thought I already knew. We walked, talked, learned, and enjoyed local food. Even though it was only a short tour, it felt as if I had traveled far away. It was truly a wonderful experience. Yuri, thank you for being such an amazing guide!

A Magical Night at Kenrokuen’s Snow-Rope Illumination - This time, we enjoyed a wonderful three-hour tour starting from Kazue-machi Chaya District to Higashi Chaya District, and finally the highlight of the evening — the snow-rope illumination at Kenrokuen Garden. At both tea districts, we learned about their history and unique characteristics through engaging explanations and even fun quizzes. It was such an exciting experience. I could vividly imagine how people lived 400 years ago, as if we had stepped back in time. We also had the chance to see the process of gold leaf production, and I was truly amazed by how incredibly thin it is. The illuminated snow ropes at Kenrokuen were absolutely magical — they even reminded me of Christmas trees. I could have stayed there forever just admiring the view. Although the garden was crowded with tourists, our guide skillfully led us through, allowing us to enjoy everything smoothly and without stress. After the tour, we followed the recommendation and tried Kanazawa’s soul food, Hanton Rice. The warm and delicious meal was the perfect way to end the evening. I would love to join another tour to explore different places next time. Thank you so much for such a memorable and heartwarming experience.

Kanazawa half day walking tour - I highly recommend doing this Kanazawa walking tour. Yuri San is a lovely, thoughtful guide, and she truly made our time in Kanazawa special and memorable. She would patiently explain the history, share interesting stories about the place and culture, and carefully curate the tour to suit us! Before the tour date, she reached out to plan the day with us! And she has surprised us by taking candid photos of us during the tour and sharing those precious photos with us, of course carefully asking for our consent before hand. Kanazawa has a rich history, and doing a walking tour with a guide like Yuri San is a great way to explore a beautiful place like Kanazawa.
