Murchison Falls Activities
Murchison Falls National Park - After an early morning breakfast at 6:00 am, guests will embark on a game drive with a ranger to spot a variety of animal species such as the Uganda kob, buffalo, elephant, giraffe, lion, hartebeest, waterbuck, bohor reedbuck, bushbuck, and hyenas.
In the afternoon, a relaxing boat trip along the Nile, lasting about 3 hours, will offer sightings of animals like hippos and crocodiles, as well as various bird species along the riverbanks. Guests will also hear the thunderous sounds of the high-speed waterfall as they approach its base.
Upon reaching the base of the falls, guests will disembark and begin a 45-minute hike to the top of the falls, where they will enjoy a perfect view of the world’s longest river forcing its waters through a narrow rock passage to the bottom, forming a pool before continuing its long journey. At the top, the guide will be waiting to lead a hike to the falls and visit the dramatic top, where water struggles to escape through a narrow gorge before continuing its journey.

Murchison Falls National Park - After breakfast, guests can relax at the lodge or go for an early morning game drive. The journey back to Kampala will then continue, arriving in the early evening. Guests will be dropped off at their lodge in Kampala or Entebbe, or they can be taken to the airport to catch their flight home.
