genuinely memorable experience. - My bicycle trip in Uganda was a genuinely memorable experience. The scenery was beautiful throughout—lush landscapes, wide open stretches, and a real sense of being immersed in nature. Michael, my guide, was exceptionally kind and attentive. He did a great job keeping an appropriate pace, checking in regularly, and offering support whenever it was needed. His calm, considerate approach made the ride feel comfortable and well-organized from start to finish. One of the highlights was riding through local villages and having the chance to interact with people along the way. It added a meaningful cultural element to the trip and made the experience feel authentic rather than purely scenic. The birding was also outstanding, plenty of sightings and a great variety that made every day feel special. Overall, it was a lovely, well-supported cycling adventure that combined beautiful nature, genuine community encounters, and excellent birdwatching.

A great tour with James - Had a fantastic half day tour with my guide James. The bike was in pristine condition, lots of gears, pumped up wheels - essentially new. I was given a helmet too. I felt safe at all times. We spent 3 hours riding round the various trails. I’m definitely more of a leisurely cyclist but James didn’t mind at all, he even encouraged me to get walk with the bike if I needed to on some of the hillier/slippery parts. The nature was super beautiful. Plantations, forests, beach. An added bonus was experiencing James’ friendly relationships with the locals and children. And a yummy rolex to top everything off! Would highly recommend this tour as a way of seeing more of Uganda outside the bustling city

Don’t miss this biking tour! - What a wonderful experience! We booked with short notice and everything went perfectly! We received communication from the tour guide within an hour of booking, and he was very helpful setting everything up. The tour was amazing. The bikes were in good shape and fit us well, The tour route was interesting and a bit challenging and the sites were wonderful. I was also very grateful for our tour guide sharing so much information about his culture and even and helping us communicate through the local language. We also enjoyed eating local food from the small villages along the way. This was a great tour and would recommend to anyone! Don’t skip red dirt Uganda when you come.

What a ride! - What an incredible day ride with Shedrack! A short jaunt from my hotel and a cool little boat ride to a rustic community in and off single track. Some preserved forest and even a monkey siting! My guide catered to my needs and even added a few kms so we could visit another eco lodge. Highly recommend for all skill levels!

Beautiful tour of the community and nature - A beautiful and humbling Lake Victoria bike tour experience. I had an incredible bike tour around Lake Victoria with James as my guide. He was excellent—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely kind. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and well taken care of. Despite heavy rain and muddy trails (other groups had even turned back!), James still cycled beside me the whole way, while I hiked and jogged through the trails, so I could continue exploring the community and enjoying the trail. The people we met were warm and welcoming, and the entire experience was truly humbling. It’s a perfect short escape from the hustle of Kampala. Highly recommended!

A fantastic bike tour in nature - A fantastic experience, highly recommended, far away from the hustle of the city. The boat trip alone is an adventure, stunning scenery, passing through several villages and getting a glimpse into the lives of the locals. The paths are mostly narrow, often with some ups and downs. Many children wave and smile at you. The tour guide (Shedrack) is absolutely wonderful – very helpful, friendly, and professional. He made frequent stops and explained the different fruits, plants, and animals. A very good bike and equipment are provided. Many thanks also for the short-notice organization and for accommodating my requests.
