Vibrant walking city tour - The Kampala walking tour provides a real-life view of the city’s vibrancy, and Nasser brought it to life. From the historical buildings, to the dusty streets, from the myriad of bustling vendors to the lively metal, clothes and food markets to taxi stations to Independence Square, this tour provides a peak of daily life. Anyone looking for a few hours glimpse of the city, this a good way to spend you time.

Great trip combining everyday life with history. - Am Nasser collected us on time and took us on a very informative and interesting trip around Kampala. We started at the mosque and then walked through different areas of town. He combined this with lots of interesting information about life in Uganda historically and in the present. We had local food and then he walked us back to the start. An excellent trip with an excellent guide.

Highly recommend - A great tour to do if you are in Kampala. Nasser, my tour guide was excellent and taught me a lot about the history of Uganda. The tour was a great insight into Kampala, visiting the Independence Monument, markets, poorer areas, a Hindu Temple and the significant Mosque. Highly recommend 👌

Kampala City Tour – Responsive Service and a Dynamic Introduction to the Capital - When my original tour was cancelled at the last minute, I booked this Kampala city tour on the same morning — and I was genuinely impressed by how quickly the team responded. Everything was efficiently arranged, and I was able to begin the tour at 10am without any complications. Their responsiveness and flexibility under short notice were truly commendable. The tour itself offered a well-rounded introduction to Kampala as Uganda’s political, economic and cultural centre. Built across seven hills, the city feels layered and complex, and the itinerary captured these contrasts effectively. We visited key landmarks such as the Independence Monument and the iconic Kampala sign — both powerful symbols of national identity. What stood out most was experiencing the city’s everyday pulse. The taxi parks, bustling markets and vibrant street food scene — including watching the famous Rolex being prepared on hot pans — brought Kampala’s energy to life. The movement, the sounds, and the rhythm of daily life felt immediate and authentic. In contrast, stepping inside the mosque provided a completely different atmosphere. Beneath sweeping arches and grand chandeliers, the filtered light and stillness offered a moment of calm away from the intensity of the streets. That juxtaposition — sacred and chaotic, traditional and modern, raw yet beautiful — captures the spirit of Kampala perfectly. Overall, this is a strong introductory tour to Uganda’s capital. I especially commend the agency for their professionalism, efficiency and ability to deliver a seamless experience despite the short notice.

Really enjoyed this tour... - Really enjoyed this tour with Nasser. He picked me up on time from the hotel and through the Kampala traffic drove in a very safe manner. I found him to be very knowledgable about Kampala and the history of Uganda. Whilst there was a fair amount of walking, I felt that Nasser set the pace correctly. I wanted to try some of the local fruits and other local delights such as Rolex and he accommodated this for me, negotiating a price directly with the vendors. I learnt a lot from this tour and would highly recommend it!

Exceptional Walking Tour with an Outstanding Guide - This was probably the coolest walking tour I’ve ever done. Our guide, Nasser, took us through Kampala in a way that showed how upper-, middle-, and working-class residents live and work. He’s a natural storyteller and incredibly knowledgeable about Uganda’s history, religion, and customs. The experience was truly eye-opening for someone from the West. We walked around 10 km, but it never felt long. Navigating the markets and Kisenyi would have been difficult without a guide, and this tour made it both accessible and meaningful. Highly recommend.
