Kampala to Murchison Falls

Murchison Falls National Park - Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the lodge before embarking on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Enjoy a lunch stop in Masindi town, then proceed to Murchison Falls to visit the top of the falls, a highlight of the area. Continue to your lodge to relax for the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Game Drive and Launch Cruise

Murchison Falls National Park - Begin your day with an early breakfast, followed by a game drive where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, lions, kobs, and more. In the afternoon, embark on a launch cruise to witness the magnificent Murchison Falls and the River Nile, home to hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of wildlife along the banks.

Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest Park

Kibale National Park - After breakfast, set off for Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for its chimpanzees. This full-day drive includes a lunch stop en route, arriving at the lodge in the evening.

Chimpanzee Trekking

Kibale Forest National Park - Following breakfast, embark on a chimpanzee tracking adventure. Kibale Forest National Park is one of Africa’s premier destinations for chimpanzee tracking. The 795 km² park boasts stunning and diverse tropical forest landscapes. It is home to numerous forest wildlife, especially 13 primate species, including chimpanzees. After trekking, enjoy lunch and visit Bigodi Wetland.

Bwindi for Gorilla

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Savor a morning breakfast in Kibale before transferring to Bwindi National Park. Travel through the renowned Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you might spot tree-climbing lions. Continue to Bwindi with a lunch stop en route, arriving in the evening.

Gorilla Trekking

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers. Then, embark on a gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi, which may take 4-8 hours depending on the gorillas’ movements. Upon locating the gentle mountain gorillas, enjoy an hour to observe and photograph these primates, who often seem unfazed by visitors. Return to the lodge with your driver.

Transfer Back to Kampala

Uganda Equator - Enjoy breakfast before heading back to Kampala, passing through stunning landscapes, local markets, and towns. Stop at the Equator crossing for craft shopping and photos. Enjoy lunch en route and continue to Kampala, arriving in the late afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe Airport for your flight home.
