Kampala - Upon arriving at Entebbe International Airport, the Tubale safari driver/guide will warmly welcome you to Uganda, known as the Pearl of Africa. You will then be transferred to your reserved accommodation in Kampala. If you arrive early, you might choose to enjoy a late afternoon tour around Kampala. Alternatively, you can check in, relax, and prepare for dinner and an overnight stay.

Nile Boat Ride in Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls National Park - Your driver/guide will collect you from your accommodation to head to Murchison Falls NP. Highlights of this park include the thunderous Murchison Falls, the expansive plains of Uganda’s largest National Park, where you can spot lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants. You’ll also be amazed by the abundance of hippos and Nile crocodiles. On the way, visit the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for at least an hour of rhino tracking. Stop in Masindi for lunch before continuing to the park to check into your accommodation and relax for the evening.

Murchison Game Viewing and Afternoon Boat Trip to the Falls’ Base

Murchison Falls National Park - Enjoy breakfast and set off for an early morning game drive across the vast plains of Uganda’s largest National Park, where you can see lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants. Bird enthusiasts can spot the secretary bird and black-chested snake eagle. Return to your accommodation for rest and lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls, where you can see more animals, including hippos, crocodiles, and various water birds. Optionally, hike to the top of the falls for an unforgettable experience. Return to your accommodation for a relaxing evening.

Depart Murchison and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Kibale National Park - After breakfast, depart for Kibale Forest National Park. The scenic drive passes through villages, lush green countryside, and tea plantation-dotted hills. Kibale NP is renowned for its primates, including chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, and red-tailed monkeys. On chimpanzee trails, these primates are often seen swinging in the trees and feeding on wild fruits. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Kibale Chimp Habituation Experience and Relaxation

Kibale Forest National Park - After breakfast, embark on a lifetime experience of chimp habituation in Kibale Forest. Join Kibale’s research and habituation team in their daily activities, spending much of the day with these fascinating creatures, observing their nesting, feeding, and playing, with expert explanations. Later, return to your accommodation to relax and enjoy the stunning views of Kibale.

Transfer to Lake Mburo NP and Enjoy Afternoon Game Viewing

Lake Mburo National Park - After breakfast, set off for Lake Mburo NP. Drive past the terraced Kigezi hill slopes into Mbarara town and finally Lake Mburo NP. Arrive in the early afternoon, rest, and then head out for late afternoon game viewing. Expect to see eland antelopes, zebras, topis, impalas, warthogs, Uganda kob, and Cape buffaloes. Later, relax at your accommodation for the night.

Mburo Park Nature Walk and Transfer to Entebbe Airport for Departure

Lake Mburo National Park - Enjoy an early breakfast and proceed for a morning park/nature walk with an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger/guide. Encounter hyenas returning to their dens and see zebras, giraffes, eland, topi, and other antelopes, as well as Cape buffaloes. Take the trail to the hilltops for views of Lake Mburo and beyond, seeing 9 of the 12 surrounding lakes.

Uganda Equator - Stop for a photo opportunity at the equator on your way back to Entebbe.

This safari takes you to Murchison Falls. Expect Big 5, launch trip to the bottom of the falls. Proceed to Kibale for chimp habituation and thereafter enter Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here, you expect more game drive and launch trip on the Kazinga Channel. The safari continues to Bwindi for the ultimate gorilla experience. You will exit Bwindi for relaxation in Lake Mutanda. Head to Lake Mburo NP where you will enjoy a boat ride or park walk. Travel back to Entebbe for your outbound flight.
