Best place for beginner and experienced kiters - We spent 6 days in this little paradise. De Silva kite school is very professional, the lagoon is perfect for beginner kiters and Safris, the instructor, is just amazing ! He was previously a champion and he gives very precise advises which enable us to improve very quickly. We felt very safe is the lagoon which is not overcrowded. The environment is very friendly, good material, amazing staff. The resort is on the lagoon (no car needed to join the kite training area), it is a great advantage. We highly recommend this place for beginner and experienced kiters

Super kite school - Great place to learn kiteboarding. The teachers are all very well trained and patient, the equipment is great and abundant in all sizes and also the lagoon is great - in the water you can often stand well. Also in the hotel everything was good, Service, food, staff and also the owner of the resort was there and has himself tackled at the bar. We'll be back!

Great camp with super nice staff and good food - Great kitesurf camp with great people and nice staff. The food was excellent and also priced fine. The owner speaks fluent German and always has an open ear for all concerns.

Top place to learn kitesurfing - nice athmosphere, great people and good food perfect place to learn kitesurfing! water is nice and warm and it's safe in the laggon! instructures are professional und friendly! we enjoyed it a lot!

Great camp in Kalpitiya - I highly recommend this camp! I learned kitesurfing in 4 days I did not expect very experienced instructor team. Very nice crew always helpful. We would definitely come back!

A great place to kick back, kite and recharge. - The team at De Silva’s are great. Everyone from the office team lead by the wonderful Nalika to the bar, kitchen and house keeping we so courteous and friendly. Nothing seemed to much stress and so nice to see a group working together in such a calm way. Upul has done a great job and is an excellent ambassador for the region. I am an experienced kiter so did not take lessons but watching those that did they seemed to progress steadily thanks to the smiling and always happy teachers. I did a few excursions organised right from the front door. No issues and all were worth while. And nice to be able to do these solo too without having to join a group tour. If I have one tip, work on the coffee. As most Sri Lankans drink tea you can cut them a little slack on that one. Food was very good and you can also prearrange meals like fresh lobster! I was sad to leave the camp and will definitely be back, perhaps for a summer visit next time.
