Our local guides are excellent storytellers and they will transport you through time and the history of food. Small samples of regional traditional food and light lunch are included in our tour while you explore non-touristic parts of Kalamata. Spend 3 hours collecting memories and experiences! This tour is provided in English and French (upon request).

Taste of Kalamata Tour - Excellent! - Our experience was excellent! Sarah was a fabulous guide and within 30 minutes, I felt like I was walking around Kalamata with a close friend. The restaurants and vendors chosen were excellent and hospitable. Everything we tried was delicious. I would definitely recommend this tour. Be sure to request Sarah as your guide.

This….You must do this tour - This, this you must do this with Sarah. Great local personality that exudes her love for Kalamata food .and culture. We now have a friend for life. There were several stops along the way with 2nd and 3rd generations of businesses. They all had stories to tell about life in Kalamata over the last 100 or so years. Definitely a highlight of or trip to this point.

Enjoyable and tasty insights in local Greek cuisine - It was a wonderful morning with Sarah. I learned a lot about Greek cuisine and culture. Now I have the feeling that I have a good understanding of the local food. By the way, it tasted great. I can totally recommend it.

Great fun on the Kalamata food tour! - Sara was a great guide. She was super helpful and very flexible as we dipped into side shops, not officially on the tour. We have been de Greece scores of times and found Kalamata, a very interesting and authentic Greek town. The old traditions of cooking in the area are alive and Sarah will introduce you to them if you go on the store. We loved it.

Must Do Tour of Kalamata Food - Our cruise was diverted to Kalamata due a storm in Sicily. We were fortunate to find this tour with Sara as our guide. Our tour was 7 stops (in 3 hours) to local shops where we tasted their wares. Everyone was so friendly and happy to share their expertise! At the end of the tour we had lunch! Overall it was a great experience with the people, culture, and food of Kalamata! Sara was amazing! This is a must do tour!

Lots of food and lots of good conversation. - I ate a lot of extremely delicious food (too much probably), learned a lot about local culture and history, met many interesting people like the baker and the beekeeper and had many interesting conversations with my guide Sara, maybe because I am a Gemini and she is s a Libra or maybe just because she is a very easy person to talk to.

Amazing food tour in Kalamata - We had the most wonderful Kalamata Food Tour with the best food tour guide ever: Sarah. She is such a warm, wonderful and funny person. She guided us around Kalamata and told us a lot about the city and the food traditions. We had an amazing time and recommend this food experience to all people visiting Kalamata.

DO YOURSELF A FABOUR... - We had a really enjoyable tour with Dora as our guide. She is contagipus with good humour and full of the history of Kalamata. Skipping breakfast is a must! We all enjoyed meeting the staff from the speciality shops and hearing their stories. This is a tour full of warmth, the pride in which people have perfected their craft is obvious and the joy of sharing their food with us added to the great food festival of this tour.
