Thanks a lot to Baligh... - Thanks a lot to Baligh for a great whole-day tour of the country of Tunisia. The guide and the driver did a great job of showing the country. Baligh gave a lot of detailed insights about the history of each sight and the country overall during that tour Definitely recommended and would do a similar tour with Baligh again!

Friendly amazing hospitality - It was a delightful way to spend the day to enjoy the beautiful sites of Tunisia. The distances were long but the roads / vehicle and of course the company of the driver Maloc (sp?) and guide Boutheina were amazing. Their friendly demeanour and wonderful hospitality made me feel at home in their beautiful city. Thanks for the day. 🙏💕

Great tour - We loved the tour, the coliseum of El Jem is impressive, the Kairouan mosque is very beautiful and the ribat of Monastir is great too. The guide, Beligh, has a great knowledge of Tunisian history and culture and explains the tour with great passion. We also enjoyed our driver, Khmous, who was very friendly and helpful.

Highlights of Tunisia - The tour is a great, hassle-free, way to see a lot of the highlights of northern/central Tunisia whilst staying in Tunis. The mix of activities, from the medina/mosque to Roman ruins to seaside fort kept things fresh and interesting. My guide, Yaya, was very friendly and knowledgeable and our driver got us around safely and efficiently. A long day but worth it!

Best way to explore Tunisia - I booked two day trips — Dougga & Bulla Regia, and Kairouan, El Jem & Monastir — and both were excellent. Dougga’s theater and Capitol were impressive, but Bulla Regia was the real standout, with underground Roman villas and mosaics still in place. On the other tour, El Jem’s amphitheater was unforgettable (almost no crowds compared to Rome), Kairouan’s mosque and old town gave a real sense of Tunisia’s history, and Monastir was a great way to end the day. Our guide, Beligh, was the highlight of both trips: knowledgeable, patient, and gave excellent explanations. Both tours are long days on the road, but the transport was comfortable and the pacing was good, never feeling rushed. The driver was also great!

If you are more than 2 days in Tunis you should’t miss it - Kairouan is one of the 4 sacred cities for Muslims ( along with Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem) is worth visiting and Jed has a Colloseum second in the world after THE colloseum in Rome, but this is extremely well preserved LONG trip though (575 kms)

Long day but worth it - Had a great time on this tour, bus was air conditioned so that was a big win as it was 35 degrees the day we went. First stop was a roman water storage system that could be viewed from the rooftop of a tourist info building, to be honest it felt a bit random and didn't really add much to the tour but your only there a few mins so not too bad and then its on to the mausoleum and then the mosque, which are all close together, you are supposed to wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees and women also need a headscarf but luckily these can be provided upon entry if you don't have them. Both buildings are beautiful and the guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail even giving us a demo of how Muslims pray when they attend the mosque. It's then quite a long ride to El Jem where you stop along the way at quite a nice looking building which has a buffet restaurant this is included in the price and also a souvenir shop. The meal wasn't anything special to be fair and I thought it was a bit tight that drinks weren't included in the price, I guess because your a captive audience you have no choice. It's then on to El Jem, you get dropped off at a car park which is about a 5-10 min walk from the coliseum, you follow the guide there and have to walk past souvenir shops who to be fair don't hassle you too much. Then you get to go into the coliseum itself. The building is really impressive and again the guide is really knowledgeable about it all, then you get about 40 mins to go explore yourself, you have to make your own way back to the bus so make sure you can remember the way back to the car park. It's then around a 10 min drive to a roman museum where they have housed a series of large mosaics that were removed from an archaeological dig of a huge villa, again the guide was very knowledgeable and gave everyone time to explore on their own at the end. All in all I'd say the trip was worth it the guide was really good, not just at the different stops but all the way through, but just be warned its a long day, you'll spend a lot of time on the bus and take plenty of water with you

Great Tour! - Great tour. Our driver picked us up promptly from our hotel, he organised a guide for us to take us around Kairouan - what a fabulous place, lots of little obscure streets into shops where ladies were doing Embroidery through to the old Watermill where a camel is still working. Fabulous. Then onto El Jem which was just amazing! Finally to Sousse where we trooped up the tower to see the views - wonderful! If there was one fault I would ask for more time at Sousse. But great long Day!!

Beautiful Sights, Disappointing Guide, Substandard Vehicle - Very disappointed with the tour guide. We booked online and the departure time was indicated as 8:00. He wanted us to leave at 7:30. We had to communicate three times via the app to secure the time that was advertised online. The VW van was more of a cargo van with seats and with very poor suspension. It was a very uncomfortable ride. This van needed new shock absorbers and realignment. Also there was very little leg room which made for more discomfort over the course of the long day. The major problem with the tour, however, was the guide. He was not particularly friendly and did not provide much insight on the sights we were visiting. His English language skills need improvement. He was difficult to understand. His vocabulary was extremely limited. He had a hard time understanding and responding to our questions. Much of the tour was spent in silence. We had to ask for him to provide information as we travelled to the sights. Toward the end of the trip he attempted to have us skip the last stop on the tour, Monastair, because he said we might arrive too late to see the Fortress, that it would be closed. We asked to be taken there. It was open and we toured it. At the end of the trip he coerced us into tipping the driver. We understood that the price which we paid, which was higher than most tours listed online, was all inclusive. That turned out not to be the case. I would not recommend this guide. The sights we visited were most impressive and we were glad we took the time to see them, but we could have easily read the signage and got as much information as was provided by this guide. We specifically this tour—and spent the higher amount—because we believed we would be receiving superior service. That was not the premium tour that was advertised or what we experienced. The quality of the vehicle in particular was sub-standard.
