This excursion provides two distinct kayaking adventures for your selection: the Seal Kayak trip and the Sunset Kayak journey. It holds the distinction of being the inaugural kayak tour in New Zealand to feature hands-free kayaking. - Children must be accompanied by an adult
- All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking if over 100 kg maximum weight is 115kg. If your weight is 115kg - 125kg, you must book a private tour for your safety. If you have any concerns, please email [email protected].

Seal Kayak Tour - We did the Seal Kayak Tour in May and it was fantastic!
Our guide Conrad was friendly and knowledgable - we learnt so much during our tour! Also, he took really good care of us out in the sea - I had no worries at all. And of course, we saw so many NZ fur seals in their natural habitat - it was amazing!
Highly recommend this tour and it was definitely one of our trip's highlights.

A great way to spend a morning - Fantastic trip out to see the wildlife - really great morning out- the kayaks were easy to use and Logan our guide was so knowledgable about the local area and all the wildlife and Seals that we encountered- a great way to spend a morning in Kaikoura.

A very relaxed way of sea kayaking - A very relaxed way of sea kayaking. Being able to see a blue penguin during the tour. Being able to see fur seals up close than would have been possible on land. Fur seals tolerate you more in their element than on land.

Outstanding way to view the wild life - This was an amazing experience, we got up close to the seals, which was the aim of the trip, but better than that, lots of dolphins on several occasions, got right up close to us - very very special.
The guides, Logan and Conna were outstanding: knowledgeable, helpful and they catered to all age groups.
The pedal yaks are easy to use, so your hands are free to take lots of pictures. I've been with this company before; they're outstanding.

So much more than expected! - WOW!!! So much more than what was expected. Easy to book / easy to get into kayak’s. Such an informative tour/ learnt a lot/ seen a lot / how lucky we were to see seals in the wild / so close. Guides were very informative/ helpful & fun! Thank you!

Magical experience - What a magical experience, the best so far in NZ. We went kayaking in the morning, in a small group, saw loads of seals and were lucky enough to see some Dusky Dolphins, swimming close to the kayaks and jumping in front of us. We even saw a little penguin and a whale in the distance.
Our guide Logan was great, very friendly, experienced and professional, he told us lots of stories about Kaikourā and the animals, very interesting.
We'd definitely do it again!

Great family kayak tour - We had a great time. Conor is a fantastic guide, keeping our two young boys entertained and getting us up close with seals. I was a touch skeptical about the pedal kayaks but I am now a convert. Would highly recommend.

Great experience - Absolutely stunning and suitable for anyone. Once in a lifetime experience not just watching seals but dolphins too. Overall, it was a great experience easy to paddle, great photos and good coffee.

Breathtaking - The kayaks have a pedalier system that is easy and fun. My 4 kids were able to use it. The guide (Connor) was fun and shared a lot of infos. We saw the fur seals. But the view is worth more than the seals I think. It’s breathtaking! Glad we stopped there.
