Cloudy day in Kagoshima - Cozy was a very good guide. She gave us background & stories of where we went. Foot bath was an experience even though a little HOT. I recommend this tour. She even helped us get back to the ships shuttle bus. Thank you very much Cozy.

Sakurajima Volcano - Allow more than 30 minutes, if traveling by cab, due to some heavy traffic. Otherwise it was a very knowledgeable experience.

Fun time - We had a fun day with ferry ride, shrine, national park, foot bath park, art project, and volcano. We even saw a gigantic Sakurajima radish, I'm guessing it weighed around 30 pounds. That's less than half the record! It's a great excursion to do from a cruise, back two hours before all aboard.

Wonderful Sakurajina - Our guide Cozy, an extremely efficient and caring person gave us an enjoyable tour of Sakurajina. Easy meet at the ferry, a visit to shrine and museum. Island bus to pottery where we tried our talent at making an ash picture (I hate to say it but my husband’s was better) - the two ladies at the pottery were friendly and welcoming, it was a lovely visit. Then the bus to the observatory with a wonderful view of the volcanoes - back to the ferry and back to ship on time. Cozy always conscious of time and our safety.

Great tour and an amazing tour guide Yukiko! - We had a great time. Our guide Yukiko was amazing, knowledgeable, polite, helpful and carrying. It was a pleasure to spend the day with her and to see Kagoshima. It was exiting to be very close to an active volcano and to have a chance to paint with it’s ashes. I recommend the tour with Yukiko to all my friends and family.

Have a nice trip on the volcano island. - Aya has shown us all aspects of part of the volcano island. The creative part, painting with colored lava sand, is enjoyment. Thank you Aya.

Volcano exploration - So, we were a little late but Yuki was very understanding and gave us updates on how to find her. The Sakurajima visitors center was very informative with little models of the 2 different volcanos. I enjoyed walking around the magma created Kirishima-Kinkowan national park after the foot bath. One of the most unique and special experiences of my entire trip was creating a picture out of volcanic ash, then getting served matcha and sweet pickled daikon radish. The shop owner was so friendly. I got a surprisingly good bowl of ramen on the ferry ride back to the mainland. Yuki was very friendly and enthusiastic, I love her energy!
