Reccommended with Antoni driver - Excellent one day trip including temples and volcanos. We had very good driver Antoni, safe driving with very good English. He provide lot of informations, much beyond just beeing driver. Tip for trip: if you plan to go with jeep under Mnt Merapi, plan it for early morning as first point. This is best part of day for clear sky usually.

Impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site - This is a must to visit when in the area. Plan on spending about 1.5hrs at the Site with a park-appointed tour guide who gives lots of information about the history and significance of the Site.
Rather then booking an expensive ride out and back to Yogyakarta with a so called private driver or bus with guide (which they typically aren’t since guides are park-provided for free), we bought our tickets online directly from the Temple’s website (cheaper) and booked a Grab to go out and back. The park appoints guides to groups of ~25-20 pers. per group. Plan on having to remove your footwear; they provide free upanat (temple sandals) and carrying it on a free bag also provided should you opt to climb the temple. There are many steps but it’s manageable and there are hand rails.

Great experience - Heri our driver and guide was so helpful and amazing! He took us around the sights and also found a great spot for lunch. He was kind and explained how the tour would work during the day, would highly recommend! He gave insights on the temples which was helpful for us! Thank you again!

Must do trip🇮🇩 - * Our guide Adit was really great 🇮🇩 Spot on time to pick us up at silly o’clock in the morning. He knew all the local people and helped us have a really smooth day travelling and also at the amazing places. Phenomenal day tour out of Yogyakarta - We really liked the pace we moved, we felt that we had enough time at each activity while also not running behind schedule. the Sunrise at Borobudur was cloudy but that can not be controlled but was made up by the stunning beauty up close afterwards. Ipung was very friendly and knowledgeable which was a total plus and we really enjoyed going around Prambanan with her. Great day trip overall, thank you!

Recommended experience - Borobudur is a very charming place, which alone is worth a visit. Iuppa was a great driver, also available at program changes, absolutely recommended and reliable.

Joyfull day - Great trip, had a nice driver who told us alot about the cultur in good English. He had a nice car was a relaxed driver. We really enjoyed the tour and enough time was given. Would recommend to family and friends!

Wonderful Adventure - The whole trip was amazing, more than expected and well worth the price. We arrived in Yogyakarta around 3am and were picked up by an incredible guide, Mr Adit, who went above and beyond to make sure the whole trip is memorable and pleasant. Starting off at Merapi Tour, we were met with the ever cheerful Jeep driver and guide, Mr Fajar who showed us the beauty and tragic story of Mount Merapi. Afterwards, Prambanan tour was guided by a very knowledgable guide Mr Miro, while Borobudor was guided by very enjoyable guide, Mr Dani both have insight into the deep religious history of the region. Mr Adit also brought us to see coffee luwak making before Borobudor, which was very thoughtful. Overall, a day worth spent, definitely recommend!
